are a wireless printer, a desktop computer, a flat screen monitor, a
speaker system, a wireless mouse and keyboard, a high performance modem, a
cordless phone, a high output wireless router, a tablet and a smart
phone. Damn, but I think they're closing in on me. The paper shredder
behind me isn't part of their high-tech gang but it's got blades so I keep
one eye on it anyway.

It was carried out by former ITV executive Stuart Prebble and found that
the BBC had been out of step with the public on the issue of immigration
and Britain's membership of the European Union. The corporation had a fear
of causing offence over immigration and had, what former BBC news boss
Helen ("Impartiality is in our genes") Boaden described as "a deep liberal
bias" over the issue when she came in to the job in 2004. So that's that -

While I was away to Sweden our dog Homer was killed by a car in the street
in front of our house.
We only had Homer for one year but he and I became very close. He was a
coon hound and his sniffer worked overtime. He took us all on walks -
dragged us actually.
He had an amazing internal clock....he knew his eating times and was good
at reminding us. About 2:00 pm everyday he would begin working me hard to
get away from the computer and take him for a walk. I owe him alot for
helping improve my mental health.

A new study conducted by a U.S. military adviser examining a year of drone
strikes in Afghanistan has determined that drone strikes resulted in 10
times more civilian casualties than strikes carried out by manned aircraft.
This is especially interesting given the radically understated claims about
the number of civilians killed by drone strikes made in the past and claims
made by Obama himself.

discovered that the Facebook application for Android was secretly
identifying users’ phone numbers and sending them to Facebook’s servers.
This news is especially interesting given Facebook’s role in the recently

University (NCSU) reveals that video cameras outfitted with facial analysis
software can recognize the emotions of students and identify struggling
students.
NCSU researchers have also shown the ability to remotely control cockroaches,
