At this point, I don’t give a damn if the word “incomplete”

CAN WE TALK: Kitty Genovese died for George Zimmerman’s sins!
*FRIDAY, JULY 12, 2013*
*Part 5—Two famous tales of the Times:* Way back in 1964, the New York

This story involved a victim’s cries for help and witnesses’ calls to
police.
As the story was told in the Times, parts of the story were true, but large
parts of the story were false. In part for that reason, the story became
extremely famous.
It was very much a tale of the times. In large part, that explains why the
story was invented and why it became so famous.
This story concerned the stabbing death of Kitty Genovese, a 28-year-old

Witches Past and Present- Spellbinding by Maya Gold (a book review)
When it comes to Young Adult literature it seems like there are two types
of main characters: those who have bad things happen and rise above and
those who have bad things happen and act foolishly, causing more bad
things. Unfortunately, Abby, from Spellbinding, was one of the latter.
Spellbinding, by Maya Gold, was fine. Just fine. It wasn't the worst book I

Being a witness comes up in many different ways. First you can be a
witness in a case brought by or against you. So then you are a party and
it really is the only chance you will have to tell your story. In such a

you can be a witness in a case where you don’t really care who wins – there
your emotions are not as likely to get involved.

Spiritual Parasite: A Shamanic Perspective Of Abuse, And Its Treatment With Gregori
What I find startling is that I have observed the exact progression in
others and have come to a similar scenario as a working model. In this
article, I am having it read back to me. It also conforms directly to the
ayauska experience which also identifies a parasitic image that is at least
isolated. In our own culture, we have anthropomorphized these effects as a
almost rational demon. That appears to be a bad choice of descriptives for
what is a defined elemental effect operating irrationally.
This appears to be an expression of the processing capabilities centered

Manganese Stepping Stone to Oxygen Photosynthesis
This makes it pretty clear that manganese is far more important in a
biological sense that had been plausibly considered. It is certainly
heavily represented in sediments and related volcanics, something that I
have seen for myself.
Yet this was unexpected. It may inform us a much more.
A better understanding of manganese biology is now clearly called for.

NSA Wire Taps and Telcom's Profit From It...

I saw this on the Wealth Channel on my cable TV today. Wealth TV is a
channel for the ultra-rich, it showcases homes and vacations most of us
could never dream of having. The TV network is based here in San Diego,

by current American news standards.
The news segment says the average wiretap (which often run months or years

THE PROPAGANDA HYPOCRISY OVER SHELLING RESIDENTIAL AREAS IN WAR
Just a quick observation today triggered by an editorial in the *Washington
Post*. The bit that caught my eye and got me thinking was the opening
paragraph. It went thus:
*It has been a month since the White House informed journalists that
President Obama had decided to supply Syrian rebels with light arms. Since
then, the regime has launched a bloody new offensive in the city of Homs,
using heavy artillery and rockets to attack residential areas held by the
rebels. Thousands of people have been killed, adding to a death toll
approaching 100,000. President Bashar al-Assad has been b... more »
If Only We Weren't Lashed Tightly to Fossil Fuels, We Might Save the World
What would you give for a chance to reverse global warming? Think on that
for a minute. What would you be willing to sacrifice to avert climate
change tipping points, irreversible runaway global warming?
Is such a thing even possible? A team of experts from the Chalmers

fuel (trees, crop waste, biomass) coupled with a massive programme for
carbon capture and sequestration could actually reverse global warming.

A GREAT ANTI-WAR FILM
Johnny Got His Gun is a 1971 anti-war film based on the novel of the same
name written and directed by Dalton Trumbo and starring Timothy Bottoms,
Jason Robards and Donald Sutherland with Diane Varsi. The film is well
known for distinguishing between Joe's reality and fantasy with black and
white for the hospital, and color for his dreams and memories. His dreams
are drug induced, as when he talks to his dead father and Christ, with the
color being saturated. His memories are in a clearer color, such as the
fishing trip and his last night with Kareen. Joe's face is never seen in

think the array was quite as large as those run in 1947, and they shot down

large amounts of twine or rope that held the array together and the radar
targets were not particularly degraded.

The story, here, is that the original House version of the bill failed when

government, disagree. Here is a Wikipedia list, I’m sure it’s not

significant injury or death. Police taser gun use is increasing in Britain
(up 66% in the year up to March 2011).

The images from the Toronto flood are astounding considering it derived
purely from a rainstorm - not a huge hurricane like Sandy, or several
rivers overflowing with snow melt.
Meanwhile, although no one puts it together, the country is awash in local
news stories about trees falling.
These screenshots are from video in Chicago, a spectacle now becoming so
familiar and typical that people are inured to the unprecedented damage
being done to houses, cars and power lines.

How Much Of a Third World Country is Okay for Canada?
We've been given a price tag for adapting Canada's essential
infrastructureto climate change - one trillion dollars, give or take a
few billion. I'm
pretty sure that's an American trillion - one thousand billion - not the
British trillion - one million billion.
So let's say we spread that out over fifty years at twenty billion per
annum. The federal government alone supposedly takes in some
$260-billion
a year so $20 to 30-billion a year spread out among the feds, provinces
and
municipalities should be doable.
Do we have a fifty-year window to rehabilitate our infrastructure? ... more »
Even If You're Not A Neil Young Fan, We Still Want You To Get To Know Pennsylvania State Senator Daylin Leach
A few days ago we asked you to take a look at the Blue America Neil Young
contest. Shorter version here. But Daylin Leach is a lot more than a cute
contest. And although Neil Young's music was important to young Daylin when
he was growing up, it isn't the only thing that helped form Daylin Leach.
He was raised in Northeast Philadelphia by a single mother. When Daylin's
grandmother got terminally sick, his mother had to quit work to devote her
full attention to taking care of her. This meant that she could no longer
take care of Daylin and he was sent to live in a series of foster ... more »
Fomenting Civil War in Egypt

The killing of more than 50 people at a demonstration in support of ousted
Egyptian President Morsi in Cairo on Monday has justifiably horrified many
in Egypt and internationally. The pro-Morsi elements have placed the blame
on the military forces, while the military claims it was attacked with live
ammunition. While accusations are hurled back and forth, a new aspect to
this story is emerging – the presence of a third force, namely snipers
stationed on rooftops firing at both sides of the conflict. This
revelation raises serious questions about... more »

"27 Facts That Prove That The Family In America Is In The Worst Shape Ever"

* In America Is In The Worst Shape Ever"*

"The family is one of the fundamental building blocks of society. If you do
not have strong families, you are not going to have a strong society.
Unfortunately, the state of the family in America continues to deteriorate.
The marriage rate has fallen to an all-time low, we lead the world in
divorce, and about a third of all children live in a home without a father.
Our young people have been taught that getting married and having a family
is not a priority, and many of those that wou... more »

Will justice be served for George Zimmerman? BREAKING: Jury can consider 3rd degree charges based on "aggravated child abuse?"......

From Legal Insurrection:
As expected, the Judge in the George Zimmerman case ruled that in addition
to Second Degree Murder, she will instruct the jury on the lesser included
offense of Manslaughter, as required by Florida case law.
In a surprise move this morning, the prosecution asked the Judge to drop
the Aggravated Assault charge and to instruct the jury on Third Degree
Murder, which is murder in the course of committing a felony.
The felony the State wanted as the predicate was Aggravated Child Abuse

Islamophobia – The Irrational Fear of Questioning Islam - Liberties Alliance :: Liberties Alliance
A must read article... Here's the introduction:
'This article will discuss the way the word 'Islamophobia' has been used as
a political weapon rather than as an honest way of communicating an idea.
The main problem arises from the fact that by combining the words 'Islam'
and 'phobia' the resulting term is itself contradictory given current
usage. It ignores rational fears that people may have and in the best
Stalinist tradition labels those with such fears as being mentally ill.
We will start by showing how the term 'Islamophobia' as it is currently
used is merely a political tool... more »

Since the tragic mass shootings in Aurora, Colorado and Newtown,

It makes sense to the general public since all mass shooters are clearly
