We owe the Vetted Facts about the
New Orleans Flood to the Survivors
Dear Supporter

This is a link to interactive Google Earth satellite imagery that focuses in on an area just a few miles south of New Orleans.

Just use your mouse and scroll around in any direction and get sick.
This is what they have illegally done to one of the most precious ecosystems on the Earth, much less the historic protector of New Orleans from the sea. Look at it; the damage is of Biblical scale. That all used to be solid land until the oil BOOM of the 60s through 80s.

And it’s not just the over 10,000 miles of canals, it’s the trillions of barrels of oil they sucked from beneath us that collapsed major areas of the region below sea level. It’s not rocket science, it’s mud and gravity. This is all verified by USGS studies since 2002 and was predicted by the Corps in the early 70’s.

For our Governor and other representatives to look the other way is criminal. They are supposed to protect the people from the industry, but instead protect the industry from the people. But if the rest of the nation and world look away from this horrific scene, everyone is an accomplice.

If this suit is quashed TOMORROW in the legislature, so is hope for the future of New Orleans.

Walter

Supporter, this compelling communication comes from Walter Williams, creator of Mr. Bill (Saturday Night Live), Houma resident and board member of Restore Louisiana Now.
We, at Levees.org, also invite you to view these shocking new photos that Big Oil doesn't want you to see:

If you haven't yet, please call these legislators in the House Natural Resources Committee and urge them to vote NO to Senate Bill 469.

It is critical that you act by 9:00 a.m. Wed May 21st.

As you study infrastructure neglect, perhaps you too will be struck by the resemblance to Water Warfare in long term policy.
