Powerful Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Northern California
According to national media sources, an earthquake struck offshore
and rattled the Northern California coast on Sunday night, about 50
miles west of Eureka. After an inital report of a magnitude 6.9, it has
been downgraded to a 6.8M earthquake.
