Violence took another dip in Iraq during the fourth week of November. This was despite heavy fighting in Anbar and another mass grave being found in Sinjar with victims of the Islamic State. There were 107 reported attacks in Iraq from November 22-28, 2015. That was down from 140 the week before, and the second lowest number of incidents of the year. This was another sign that violence has leveled off in the country. Earlier we mentioned that the House voted to authorize unconstitutional domestic spying on American citizens yesterday. The day didn't get any better. Next up was the crackpot Republican bill to overturn the EPA's climate change regulations for power plants. It passed 242-180 while the President was in Paris for an International Climate Change conference, something that earned him the disdain of two particularly vile Climate Change deniers, Sean Hannity and Mike Huckabee.
