In order to get bail pending appeal an accused must show, among other
things, that the appeal is not hopeless. The Court recently described what
must be show as follows in R v Charles, 2014 SKCA 121:

audited 62 of New York’s 248 charter schools, according to Serrette’s
report. All told, Serrette’s group estimates wasteful spending at charters

Affairs Canada received almost $700,000 in bonuses and extra pay in 2011
"even as their department came under fire for failing to help former
soldiers." A Con official advised him the bonuses are set by the Treasury

Tejas, which will replace the aging MiG fighters, will be commissioned
soon, government informed the Lok Sabha on Friday.
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is working on the
Light Combat Aircraft Tejas Programme, which has been running behind
schedule.

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) spokesperson Colonel David Obonyo confirmed.

regrettably crashed within enemy territory," Obonyo said in a statement
sent to Sabahi.
"Al-Shabaab militia reached the site of the crashed aircraft and set it on
fire," he said. "The fate of the pilot remains unknown. We classify him as
still missing in action."

articles and technical data.
Prosecutors said Awwad tried to steal technical data in the designs of the

U.S. Congress passes bill on sale of Perry frigates to Taiwan

the sale of four decommissioned U.S. frigates to Taiwan, a transfer that
supports said will enhance Taiwan's defense capability.
The bill, which was approved Thursday, will now be sent to the White House

month or early in January.
The measure, which also approves the transfer of warships to Mexico among
other things, was adopted by the House of Representatives in April.

restrictions on female troops joining combat units.
The Ministry of Defence is moving towards the historic change after a

Admiralty Shipyards (which is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation)
in St. Petersburg have provided the Vietnamese Navy with the third of the
six Project 636.1 diesel-electric submarines ordered by Vietnam, the
Russian shipbuilding industry told Interfax-AVN.
"An act of technical acceptance of the submarine was signed on Thursday,"

Admiralty Shipyards is now expecting a barge to take the submarine to Cam
Ranh, where it will be based. "The submarine, which is called the Hai
Phong, will be sent to Vietnam tentatively by December 10," the source said.

This is a complete surprise as there was zero indication of real
volcanism. That has now changed. What it means about the core now needs
to be investigated with different eyes. One expects a deep chamber at the
core and a deep pathway that allows some escape.

Historically, the United States has been admired by the rest of the world because of its “freedom.” When I grew up in the 40s and early 50s there certainly was freedom …and the word “terrorism” was never heard. Nowadays virtually all terrorism in the U.S. is the work of the government. And in place of freedom, the present U.S. government has unleashed sociopath stormtrooper cops with license to terrorize and murder anybody they wish, including children, without punishment. I feel so bad for today’s children. It’s hard for me to picture myself growing up under these conditions. Would I have become a cop instead of a Ph.D. physicist? I certainly hope not. But one thing I’m sure of is that I would never murder anyone, even if ordered to do so and knowing that I wouldn’t be punished if I did..

The Orion spacecraft launched Friday morning from Cape Canaveral in Florida
and finished its first test flight by falling gently into the Pacific
