his blog on NSA spying was shut down on university servers today,
Monday, Sept. 9, 2013.
"I received a request from my Dean this morning asking me to remove all
copies of my NSA blog post from University servers. The post is still up
on Blogger, but a local University mirror of my blog was
Fellow Democrats, it's high time to admit to yourselves that Obama is not the "great black hope" you thought you had elected. On a little reflection you will realize that in the past five years he has presided over the imminent collapse of our economy, talked of cutting Social Security while ever increasing military spending, and lied us into senseless foreign wars that have subjected our troops (who we "support" with little ribbon stickers) to grave injury, post traumatic stress syndrome, and death (often at their own hand). for the BBC, and her confidence that that love is shared by us, the public
- along with her declaration of interest that her daughter works for the
BBC.

Syria, War and Children
It is sad that how war-torn areas impact children and what kind of life
they live. To start with there are two million refugees from Syria in
neighbouring countries and many of them are children. Syria's total
population is 22 1/2 million and nearly 35% are 0-14 years old -
children. What kind of life view will they have the ones who survive? It is

Today, September 9th 2013, is the day Congress will debate the prospect of
war. Then, when the debating is done, they will vote on President Obama’s
recommendation that the United States bomb Syria back to the Stone Age.
These well-heeled politicians will meet in the comfort and safety of
Washington to decide the fate of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of

My concern is that the current situation may give Assad incentive to carry
out more atrocities. It is a very troubling situation. The atrocities must
stop and the U.S. must get Russia on its side to deter Assad. Diplomatic
efforts must be intensified. Given the U.S. Congress's dilly dallying a
strike on Syria may be delayed indefinitely.

is easier to get people to take pictures at the party if there is a

We've moved! We're renting a much larger, newer, and more comfortable house
in central Mississauga. We've lost the huge backyard of our old rental
home, but the backyard here is still a decent size, the largest of any

with old, un-maintained, falling-apart houses, beautiful new townhouses
with either no backyard or a tiny square of cement, or this place!)

Syria President Assad both the President media blitz on Monday and the Tuesday night speech - with his own television interview for the American public with Charlie Rose....... He denies having anything to do with any alleged chemical weapon attack ( which he has doubts as to what occurred based on evidence produced to date , if an attack did occur he suggests the Rebels may be behind it. ) If there is conclusive proof Assad ordered the attack , that commanders under his direction and / or control received orders to deploy chemical weapons , now would be the time to come forward with hard evidence.
