If liberal democrats were serious about opposing the looming Syria war - why not discuss Libya ? First , Libya ( as is the case pro-offered for Syria ) , stemmed from an alleged humanitarian crisis . Second , both Libya and Syria are pro-offered under the guise of " limited kinetic actions " - limited as far as American lives lost and time spent on the actions ( regretfully neither will be limited for the libyan or syrian people who die / are maimed are are left to mop up the aftermath. ) Third , Libya was sold as moderate rebels would replace a dictator who savagely repressed his people and dissension - ditto for Syria , even the same Al Qaeda stamp on the Rebel forces there ( as in Libya . ) Fourth and finally , why won't the descent into miltia rule and absence of a credible government that has befallen Libya be the template for an " Assadless " Syria - insert for islamic jihadist " militias and Al Qaeda linked forces with libyan militias and you are right there , right ?

Syria War updates - Can the White House even pass a War Resolution - with 217 No votes in the House of Representatives presently ? Let's face facts - has the US ever looked as incompetent , uninformed , out of its depth and totally outclassed by our enemies such as Russia and China ( and their allies who benefit such as Iran and Syria ) ? Do we have the ability to speak anything but lies these days - referring to our leaders ? Do they even know what they're talking about when they open their pie holes ? As we get schooled , doesn't it seem as least possible that the Al qaeda Rebels set up some if not most of these chemical attacks - why can't the US acknowledge that at least ? And remind me again , besides Al Qaeda and the US , who actually is publicly supporting the rush to war by the US ?

Will President Obama court disaster by ignoring a NO vote from the House of Representatives on the Syria War Resolution ( assuming the Senate barely passes its War Resolution ) ? If he does ignore the House as trial balloons are "tsting " the waters for reaction suggest , does the House impeach Obama - as he clearly fears ? First the Sexy Boys Parody by Mod Carousel- quite amusing
Second the #WomensRights Pro-Choice Parody- quite dire
Third Madmoni's spoof "Tan Lines - amusing in parts

Warren Zevon was a legend, albeit a mostly unknown one! Just take a read of

a few examples:

The *Radio Times* 'Feedback' page has been discussing the programme's
comparative merits, prompted by a 'Letter of the Week' from a couple of

I would like to raise a banner for ITV News. After comparing "the Six" with

very poor the BBC news service is, and what an extremely high standard ITN

It's another version of "shock and awe"..... if Obama strikes Syria it will
be to take out their airfields, missile sites, command and control centers,

Obama wants to decimate the Syrian military in order to allow the Al-Qaida
