Right now, there is about 3 feet of snow still on the ground around here,
and daytime temperatures in this part of Canada are hovering some 5-10
degrees Celcius below seasonal normals. We just completed what may be one

Love And Marriage, Horse And Carriage... Conservatism And Corruption
A few days ago I happened to mention-- just in passing-- that there is no
way, and has never been a way, to separate conservatism from corruption.
The two have always gone hand in hand, as they do today. And I'm not just
talking about the Republican Party, the Blue Dogs and New Dems or even just
the United States. All through history and all over the world conservatism
and corruption have had a symbiotic relationship. Tyler Durden uncoveredhow it worked in the big Cyprus bank robbery.

This Is No Joke: Newest Canadian Budget Has Made Bank Accounts In Canada As Safe As Those In Cyprus!
It is April 1st, and traditionally, this is the date that many pranksters
come out and pull their puns on unsuspecting individuals, only to finish
the prank by saying "April Fool".....
But what I have seen in a recent article from the Activist Post website, at
www.activistpost.com, is absolutely no joke... For it appears, according to
this article, entitled: "Canadian Deposits As Safe As Cypriot Deposits",
that the criminal Canadian Harper Regime in Ottawa has quietly and sneakily

I can't help it: the whirl of 'Eurozone finance minister' imagery in the
articles that I've been reading since Cyprus' crash began in earnest last
week is so evocative that there's no way I can resist bi-locating back to
Paris, to the weeks just before the start of the French Revolution. Think

already know this.

Thanks D for the idea of re-posting this video. This is the first recorded

Do-it-yourself gated communities and police in Honduras
Gated communities are different in Honduras.
New subdivisions in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa, the two big cities,
tend to be built behind walls and gates. But that happens in North America
too.
But people in existing neighbourhoods also throw up their own barricades
and gates, blocking city streets into the neighbourhood with concrete
blocks or corrugated steel and allowing limited, controlled entrance.
There are no permits, or traffic studies. One day you can drive through,
and the next you can’t - at least without showing ID and explaining where
you’re going.

OK, so our modern civilized world is lost, but we’re starting to wake up to

Luckily, as we move beyond the temporary bubble of abundant energy, the

People like Paul Craig Roberts, Kevin Phillips and, of course, David

unstoppable.
Stockman began his epiphany several years ago. It led him to write this

Listen to this radio interview with economists Paul Craig Roberts and Michel Chossudovsky. As explicitly stated by the latter, by listening to these interviews you will learn more about today's grave economic situation than a Ph.D. student in economics. Don't laugh. I've experienced the same sort of thing in "pure" science, where certain "truths" become dogma and any scientist who dares to disprove them risks losing his livelyhood. “In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” -- George Orwell

Next in Line, Again
I like some of David Frum's advise to Democrats about 2016 and dislike some
of it, but I'm afraid I'll mostly have to nitpick his premise. Yeah, it's
the old next-in-line fallacy:
Hillary Clinton came second in the nomination fight of 2008. If she were a
Republican, that would make her a near-certainty to be nominated in 2016.
Five of the past six Republican nominees had finished second in the
previous round of primaries. (The sixth was George W. Bush, son of the most
recent Republican president.)
Democrats, by contrast, prefer newcomers. Six of their eight nominees since
1972 had ... more »

Layers of energetic clouds are being removed from the Inner Gaia at this
moment. The process is coordinated with the humanity so to allow as many
opportunities for Higher Awareness, prior to the end date. "End date" being
flexible as required.
Post-layer-removal brings clarity of Higher Thought, Higher Purpose, Higher
Awareness. And will feel to the Higher (and 3D) Senses as a clear, bright
sky, and cool breeze.
Gaia Ascension Process is in full movement at this time.

Marc McGowan - Artist Taxi Driver - The Great Cyprus Bank Robbery by Financial Terrorists
last night, I dreamt of a harmless little black poodle my mum used to have
called Petra -- THAT is what I get for asking to meet my spirit guardian.
A poodle. I even had to carry that thing up a black wrought iron staircase
that reminded me of this Elder Guide dream.
And speaking of little harmless poodles who are restrained and meek, here's
ARTIST TAXI DRIVER Mark McGowan soliloquising wisely on the topic of The

English: A suggestion
The Japan Times has it right: Money should be investing in teaching
English, not testing it (“Testing English versus teaching it.” March 31).
Here is a suggestion that will save money and give excellent results.
Instead of investing money on expensive standardized testing, invest in
English libraries, filled with interesting and comprehensible reading
material that students are really interested in reading, including novels,
graphic novels, and comics, magazines. Research done throughout the world

The Big Banks Are Still Getting A Pass
According to a widely distributed post last week by Ellen Brown at the Web
of Debt Blog, It Can Happen Here: The Confiscation Scheme Planned for US
and UK Depositors, the FDIC and Bank of England have plans on the books to
deal with a bank meltdown the same way Cyprus has-- seizing deposits in
return for worthless bank stock. [Note: I experienced something akin to
this personally. As Steve Case and Jerry Levin were looting TimeWarner,
they forced executives to take partial payment in stock options. I had
approximately $10 million worth. When stock options go underwater, the

Fixing the Marcott Mess in Climate Science
In 1991 the National Research Council proposed what has come to be a widely
accepted definition of misconduct in science:
Misconduct in science is defined as fabrication, falsification, or
plagiarism, in proposing, performing, or reporting research. Misconduct in
science does not include errors of judgment; errors in the recording,
selection, or analysis of data; differences in opinions involving the
interpretation of data; or misconduct unrelated to the research process.
Arguments over data and methods are the lifeblood of science, and are not
instances of misconduct.

An Eostre shrine
I've made an informal study of comparative religions over the course of my
rather long life. Pretty sure this was left in Atlanta's Grant Park as part
of a nature based religious practice. (That's a rabbit in a carrot car by
the way.) We don't know why it's there. Thinking it's a shrine to welcome

New York's Race to Implement Common Core Before Revolt Breaks Out
Corporate ed reform schoolers across the country are in emergency mode to
try to implement the latest testing deliver system, the Common Core, before
parents and teachers and students can force a halt to the madness. In doing
so, deformers make their desperation apparent as their agendas take
precedent over learning or the opportunity to learn.
In New York, high stakes decisions will be made this year based on test
scores for which teachers and students had no materials or time to prepare.
This is the perfect opportunity to bring this violation into the courts.

For anyone not aware, THIS is the problem with Sunderland FC employing
Paulo Di Canio as manager. There is even more context than most people
realise. He used to perform these salutes when he played for Lazio, a club
that, on the basis of its followers, is known informally as Nazio, as the
the lowest of the low. Di Canio was expressing solidarity, inciting his
