BTW I missed it at first. Note the Olaf Koenders quip about a cold Europe. We currently have cooling in Europe coincident with a warming Arctic. That also supposedly goes with change/dissipation in deepwater conveyor currents of heat from the Gulf of Mexico...where oil is poured on the water...and corexit. Plus there are scantly reports of a lack of storm activity over the Gulf of Mexico. ( likely a good thing considering what is on the ocean floor ). And I recall a report of an Italian physicist noting that current change roughly coincident with the BP blowout. So : what if the warming from the Gulf has been reset into an alternative flow pattern ?

I continue to witness a decline in solar output, hence less 'warming' of the oceans that are our heat-tanks. We had hurricanes at the pole that shifted ice around, undersea volcanoes working under the Arctic etc. What I do know is that our planet is cooling. And for some time already. A natural cycle to my opinion. Whether the Gulf stream has to do with this is uncertain and cause of controversies. http://iceagenow.info/
