FYI, the website appears to be under a DDOS attack still. I have increased the server space by nearly 2,000 times in the last six weeks and for a little while after the last increase things worked just fine. Considering the circumstances I can only assume that we're under attack at least until more info comes in, but with what I have learned and seen in the last six weeks it seems quite clear that "someone" has launched a very major and lasting attack to keep the website offline. Any donations to keep the website up and/or create new ones are appreciated. I'll get back to you as soon as any changes occur, the FB page should be occur as it is quite safe from attacks of this kind.

1 Billion AGAINST Indefinite Detention without trial law
First of all, America is in some respects following a path that Nazi Germany followed. I quote from one account:

"Police manpower was even extended by the incorporation of Nazi paramilitary organizations as auxiliary policemen. The Nazis centralized and fully funded the police to better combat criminal gangs and promote state security. The Nazi state increased staff and training, and modernized police equipment."

This has been happening in America for some time now. These are initial steps in creating a police state. The centralization is done through building authoritative organizations that control local deviations in behavior and through funding. The funding brings in militarization and central coordination, training, and routines.

From the same source, we next read

"The Nazis offered the police the broadest latitude in arrests, incarceration, and the treatment of prisoners. The police moved to take 'preventive action' that is, to make arrests without the evidence required for a conviction in court and indeed without court supervision at all."

We are seeing in America a broad latitude given to police in making charges against civilians, in mistreating them and getting off the hook, in killing civilians in some cases rather than arresting them, in bringing false evidence into courts, in lying under oath and having their words accepted, and in seizing property. We also see prosecutors suppressing evidence and bringing false charges. Add to these misbehaviors and others the fact that almost anyone can be guilty of one or more felonies. When all is said and done, police are subjecting a significant fraction of America's population to a police state.

We all love a good conspiracy theory. The X-Files even gave us a good long run on Fox that perpetuated our inner need to know that people were working in cohoots behind all of our backs.

There have been some conspiracies that have turned out to be true blowing the theory portion out40 years later, the press finally gets it of the water.

Mad scientists that were truly crazy as a betsy bug on crack, well we have those when you think about the Tuskagee Experiment, where cuckoo doctors experimented with penicillin on folks with syphilis. Now don’t go thinking this was cool because the experiments were basically done on poor black men without their consent. The scandal took 40 years to hit mainstream media and the experiments were truly horrible.

Conspiracy? No. Real. Yes.

Guy Fawkes was a real guy. No, he wasn’t Hugo Weaving, he was a man pissed off at the British Parliament. And he wanted to blow it up (or to quote John Candy on Second City “Blow it up reeaaal good.) What people may not know is it was a religious battle between Protestants and Catholics. Someone ratted Fawkes and his conspirators out so they didn’t follow through with their plan but it did set the English government on its ear. Now the country celebrates Guy Fawkes day every November 5.

Was there a conspiracy? You can bet the Buick that there was.

Cracked magazine, which has a wonderful blog and you so need to be reading it, has a list of the seven greatest insane conspiracies that were absolutely, positively true. Scientologists get a mention as does Hitler and even George Herbert Walker Bush’s dad, Prescott, in a mad military coup that didn’t happen.

Update: via Infowars Pat Connolly, a Williams-Sonoma spokesperson, provided “Right Views” a statement regarding the decision, including an apology to anyone who was offended: “Pressure cookers are available at all our stores nationwide. “In the days immediately following the tragic bombings in Boston a local decision was made to remove pressure cookers from the sales floor of the stores near where the bombing occurred.
