THE HOUSES OF NANTUCKET COUNTY: The three reversals of Christopher Matthews!
*THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2014Part 5—The greatest flip of all:* MSNBC’s Chris

He’s still engaged in his current reversal, the one involving Hillary

woman he found to be “witchy.”
Today, the Nantucket burgher is Hillary Clinton’s most devoted

Iraq’s Economy Collapsing Under Pressure of Security Crisis

Sustainable Farms, Organic Farming Beats Factory Farms
This is noteworthy. Operators are really thinking about what is possible.
I personaly think that woodlands in particular are excellent prospects for
cattle once they are groomed properly. This should open up the woodland to
thirty percent total shade alllowing the understory to fully develop and
the ground to be also covered with vegetation.
This permits heavy grazing under the trees which is much superior to open
pasture and the noonday sun. Leaf fall under the trees combined with
sunlight will also produce a deep rich bed of grass as well

The city of Aleppo is a key battleground in the war for Syria. Forces from
Bashar al-Assad’s regime, ISIL, and the Islamic Front have all contested
Aleppo.
Vice News was able to spend two weeks with fighters from the Islamic Front

The hour-long report shows Vice News reporter Aris Roussinos walking the
front lines of the fight, dodging gunfire, interviewing Islamic Front

Boeing moving 2000 jobs from Washington state
Via @BlogWood, I learned that Boeing is going to move 2000 skilled jobs
away from Washington state, despite just receiving $8.7 billion (with a B)
in subsidies for the years 2025-2040. Really, I'm speechless. "Chutzpah" is
one of the more printable words I can think of to describe this.
You will recall that the state's legislators were angry when their $2
billion (present value of $3.2 billion over 20 years) 2003 subsidy for the
Dreamliner did not stop Boeing from putting a Dreamliner assembly line in
South Carolina. So the 2013 subsidy was supposed to guarantee that Boeing

Apple set to lose billions in EU state aid case
The *Financial Times* writes today that the European Commission has decided
to open a formal investigation into whether Apple received illegal
subsidies ("state aid," in EU-speak) from Ireland going as far back as
1991. The FT quotes "people involved in the case" as saying that this can
cost Apple billions of euros.
What the decision technically does is establish what is known as an
"Article 108(2)" investigation, which means that the Commission has
concluded from its preliminary investigation that state aid has been
granted in violation of the EU's competition policy rules. It is t... more »
Writers in Nature declared heretics by RC for dissing the 2 °C "target"
Almost every religion likes to accumulate various superstitions, arbitrary
meaningless answers to pretty much everything. The climate alarmist
religion is doing it, too. One of the silliest superstitions that have been
gradually incorporated into the religion of climate hysteria is the "2 °C
climate target" – the idea that we are obliged to avoid the warming of the
Earth by more than 2 °C above "pre-industrial levels" because otherwise the
Mother Climate would show us Her anger.
As far as I remember, I have never dedicated a blog post to this
staggeringly stupid meme – I think that ... more »
The Pundits Are Now Having A Field Day Criticizing The Obama White House

An intruder made his way across the White House lawn and through the

Secret Service officer who was off duty: This chilling news is more than
just a kind of melodramatic movie scenario come true.
Next to the military, the Secret Service is probably the most highly

Will GOP Extremists Be Able to Dislodge Boehner From The Speaker's Chair?
Yesterday Boehner was boasting that he hadn't talked to Ted Cruz, the man
who would like to name the next Speaker of the House, since Cruz was first
