Congressional Budget Office has just issued a report on the minimum
wagethat is a real head-scratcher. Analyzing proposals to raise the
minimum
wage to $9.00 or $10.10 per hour, it concludes in the latter case that
there would be 500,000 fewer jobs in the second half of 2016 than there
would be under current law (100,000 fewer for $9.00/hr.).
Predictably, conservatives have seized on this number as proof that the

That makes sense. I used to go to right-wing sites and argue with them. I'd
argue pretty caustically sometimes (given what hateful, racist, war-monger
