Meanwhile framing arguments positing a 'yes - no' answer to whether modeling predicting future conditions is reliable because Appeal to Authority is in play - presumably accurately relayed and applicable - which relies on consensus i.e. lack of acceptable contrary thought ( suitably certified as agreeing with the scenario in the first place) rather than verifiable proofs ( Hard to provide when certifying a culturally appropriate crystal ball. ) about a complex partially understood dynamic system with components for which modeling is not possible while taking some land based readings on a truncated timescale on a water world.
