Gillette will only produce razors for feminists' beards and mustaches
Gillette is one of the companies that have greatly changed the culture by its quasi-monopoly. In Czech – as well as all small Baltic and Slavic languages that use letters from the Czech alphabet ("ž"...) – the word "žiletka" refers to the general thin razors for shaving, regardless of the company that made it. The company was founded in 1901 and has headquarters in Boston. It is currently owned by Procter & Gamble, a truly large corporation. The British marketing unit has decided to change the image of the company by releasing We Believe: The Best Men Can Be | Gillette (a two-minute... more »

"Here's What An American Economic Collapse Could Look Like"
*"Here's What An American Economic Collapse Could Look Like"* by Daisy Luther via The Organic Prepper blog "When we think of “economic collapse” our imaginations usually lead us immediately to the desperation we’ve witnessed in places like Venezuela or Greece. We think of starvation, a complete lack of medical care, and waves of suicide by people who simply can’t survive. We imagine an apocalyptic societal breakdown that is immediately visible. Here in America, I suspect the collapse is going to look a lot different than it has in these other countries... at least, at first. And in ... more »

With 100 Nuclear Warheads by 2020, North Korea Could Hold the World Hostage
*David Axe* *Security, Asia* "The DPRK’s growing arsenal will provide its regime with multiple options to employ its nuclear weapons," the RAND report warns. By 2020 North Korea could possess as many as 100 nuclear warheads. That's the startling conclusion of a January 2019 report from RAND, a California think tank with close ties to the U.S. military. Russia's Hypersonic Nuke Is a Warning to America
*David Axe* *Security, * "Avangard launches atop a rocket before separating and gliding toward its target at an altitude just below the upper limit of the atmosphere and a velocity 20 times the speed of sound or faster. No existing U.S. missile defense system can target a vehicle moving that fast at such a relatively low altitude for a strategic weapon. But some think otherwise--that's the problem. Russian president Vladimir Putin is right. The Kremlin's new, nuclear-armed Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle can defeat any U.S. defense. The real danger, however, is that some seni... more »

This item is a source of great hope. Here Holistic medicine has become a thing and is been successfully measured and reported on. It is the real future of medicine. The Democrats' Opposition to the Electoral College Reveals Their Distaste for Real Democracy
I wonder if the old DEMS would have liked a popular vote in which the slaves voted? The other variation used most everywhere is the first past the post riding system. High density areas tend to be under reped there as well. It still delivers a hard decision as often as not and avoids coalition systems which have their own weaknesses. The howl over popular support is merely convenient and endemic DEM voter fraud has plausibly pumped numbers for decades.
