Is it Good to Take a Multivitamin Every Day?
Yes, and here’s why. It’s a scientific fact that your body needs vitamins and minerals to survive. It’s also a fact that a lack of vitamins and minerals lead to illness, disease and even death. So, the question isn’t IF you need vitamins everyday (you do), but rather HOW will you get vitamins and minerals […] The post Is it Good to Take a Multivitamin Every Day? appeared first on The Drs. Trump Isn't The Only Anti-Semite In The GOP-- Missouri Republicans Embrace Them Too
*Not a Halloween costume-- this is Missouri Republican candidate Steve West* Last August we warned Missouri readers about a Trumpist candidate in Kansas City, Steve West, a Missouri Nazi who the Republican Party has nominated for the General Assembly. "West," we wrote at the time, "is a hate-talk radio host, so it's not like Republicans didn't know what he was all about before they voted for him in Tuesday's 4-way GOP primary. District 15 is a pretty blue Kansas City (Gladstone) district and the incumbent is Jon Carpenter. He was renominated-- without opposition-- with 3,757 votes. T... more »

However, before we proceed our authors use capital in the mainstream economics sense, and not the Marxist one we're used to in this parish. That is to say we treat capital as a social relationship, whereas mainstream economics has a tendency to see it as an abstract input, a neutral application of tools, machinery, plant, etc. We'll come back to this l... more »

North Atlantic Treaty Organization defenders on both sides of the Atlantic repeatedly express harsh criticism of President Donald Trump for supposedly undermining the transatlantic alliance. For instance, they were especially upset with him for his conduct before and at the July NATO summit in Brussels. Critics charge that the president is relinquishing America’s leadership, especially in Europe, and wishes to abandon NATO. Yet the president’s... more »
"America’s Debt: A Recipe for Disaster"
*"America’s Debt: A Recipe for Disaster"* by Bill Bonner YOUGHAL, IRELAND – "Back in Ireland for a few days, we take up an agreeable routine. We read and write in the morning. In the afternoon, we lay stone, closing the open gable ends of our old barn. We’ve done stone masonry in France, Argentina, and now here. (There are no stones in the Maryland tidewater.) This is the best. The stones here are more rectangular and easier to split. The only problem is that we’re working high up on a scaffold. And while the stones are easy to lay, it’s hard to get them up to where we’re working.... more »
Anchor babies away...
*cast off imminent? * Word is that President Trump will make an attempt by executive order to get rid of the travesty of *anchor babies* - you know, those babies born here who automatically become citizens and worthy of all the benefits of real citizens. We can expect the commie/marxist/libtards to haul this into court and cause us militant normals untold months of grief and more gridlock. Knowing how Trump operates, I'm sure he pitched that out on purpose in an Axios interview because he knew the commie/marxist/libtards would hit it out of the park. *The Truth About Trump’s Economy* I keep hearing that although Trump may be a scoundrel or worse, he’s done a great job for the economy. Baloney. Yes, the stock market is great, but 84 percent of it is owned by the richest 10 percent of Americans. The economy is growing, but very little of that growth is trickling down to average Americans. Jobs may be back but they pay squat, especially compared to the rising costs of housing, healthcare, and education. Trump slashed taxes on the wealthy and corporations, and he promised everyone else a wage boost of $4,000 but it never happened... more »

The (Actually) Big Questions
Well, I'm blogging about it rather than RT-ing it, but nonetheless the following trio of questions remain vitally important ones: There's so much to say about such things but Mike is, I think, right in what he's implying in all three of his questions. The BBC's language in terms of right-left-whatever labelling is deeply biased. And those documentaries about Leninist, Stalinist, Communist, Trotskyist, Maoist, Marxist mass murder (many, many tens of millions of victims at the very least) are rare beasts indeed.

Xenophobe In Chief Wants To Change The Constitution With An Executive Order
For the first time ever, Trump is doing something as so-called "president" that hurts his own business. The Trump family makes huge profits by leasing expensive apartments to wealthy pregnant women from China, Russia and other former Soviet states so that their children are born in the U.S. and become automatic citizens. But as part of his xenophobic scare campaign in the last week of the midterm campaign, he announced Monday that he's signing an executive order to end "birthright citizenship." Since this defies the Constitution, it is likely to wind up in the Supreme Court. The 14... more »

Cosmic Embryo #8: What's Swimming On/In My Eyes?
I woke up from a nap, on my back, looking up through my bedroom window at a brightly lit blue sky and saw them again: numerous small, uniform dots swimming in my field of view. This time I paid attention. They went right past the images of floaters in my eye. So they are on a different plane. They moved at what seemed like nearly uniform speeds, although they sometimes went in arced trajectories. Each disappeared individually, sometimes seeming to radiate from a point, acting a bit like sparks in fireworks. They all remained in focus. read more
Like Fewer Wildifires In The US? Thank Europeans
Before the arrival of European immigrants to the western United States, up to 12 percent of it would burn each year. Somehow, even though science is well aware of that fact, political media today claim that wildfires are unprecedented and we are doomed. A new study notes again that the amount of wildfire occurring in the western U.S. remains far below the acreage burning when native Americans were not managing the ecology. The context is not to debunk modern beliefs about how superior native Americans were, but to talk about water. read more
