F-22 Makes Emergency Landing In Alaska And Is Observed To Be Leaining On Its Left Side
*Air Force Times:* *Air Force F-22 Raptor makes emergency landing in Alaska*
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Air Force says a landing gear malfunction likely

Alaska, that resulted in the aircraft leaning on its left side.

The pilot was not injured.

With The Democrats Offering Almost Nothing, The Wave Isn't Blue-- It's Just Anti-Trump

Blue Wave would be much better. It would be all about millions of Americans

The Poet: Mary Oliver, "Mysteries, Yes"
*"Mysteries, Yes"*
"Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous
to be understood.
How grass can be nourishing in the
mouths of the lambs.
How rivers and stones are forever
in allegiance with gravity
while we ourselves dream of rising.
How two hands touch and the bonds
will never be broken.
How people come, from delight or the
scars of damage,
to the comfort of a poem.
Let me keep my distance, always, from those
who think they have the answers.
Let me keep company always with those who say
"Look!" and laugh in astonishment,
and bow their heads."

Denuclearization Is a Fantasy: Why Trump Should Embrace the Truth on North Korea’s Nukes

Haruki Murakami - Commending Killatory - dramatic new book review....
*really Balthus inspiration?*wow, did I really just call it that,
Commending Killatory? That would appear to be the new accidental name for
Haruki Murakami's *Killing Commendatori* from Harvill Press just released
in hardback.
Remember, I've been Haruki Murakami's #1 fan for like donkey's years. Well,
this is a bit of an exaggeration, "I like the way he writes softly-surreal
dip-in anecdotal fiction that seems to have NO BEGINNING and NO END."
that's brave. I respect that. Especially when your book is 700+ pages long
and is sloooooooow. That's not too bad, it was an easy read, and... more »

The U.S. military on Thursday grounded its entire fleet of F-35 stealth

In Defense of Affirmative Action
The most recent battle in the war against affirmative action is being
brought by Students for Fair Admissions against Harvard University. What is
striking about the Harvard case is -- unlike previous suits which involved
White plaintiffs -- this suit is being brought on behalf of its Asian
American members who claim they were denied admission to Harvard due to
their race. Will this be the battle that finally brings down affirmative
action?

Joint Turkish/Saudi Team To Investigate Khashoggi Disappearance
*This is interesting. I like the idea of them cooperating on an
investigation rather then this continuing battle of he said/she said.*
* One thought that crossed my mind- Are Turkey and Saudi Arabia choosing to
work together to spite those that want them at each others throats? Are
they putting the rug back on the floor and firmly standing on it?- Rather
then having it pulled out from under them? *
*I'm using that idiom in this manner :To pull the rug out from under
someone is to upset their stability or to cause their plans to fail.*

Mugging America in Broad Open Daylight
After the sanctuary city of San Francisco *expanded voting to illegal
aliens* in some local elections, desperate California lefties now want to
fraudulently boost its Congressional representation and federal funding by
continuing to include illegal aliens in their census. Now leading the
charge is none other than the disgraced Senator San Fran Feinstein herself,
