Could 'Stealth' AIP Submarines Sink the Navy in a War?
*Harry J. Kazianis*
*Security, *
We look at the possibilites.
*What should the U.S. Navy do about this challenge? *
There is no force patrolling the world’s oceans more powerful than the
mighty U.S. Navy. Washington’s nuclear-powered attack and ballistic
submarines, aircraft carriers and surface combatants, all guided by the
best trained sailors and professionals in the world, are no match when
stacked up on paper one-on-one against the likes of Russia, China, Iran or
any other challenger. And as history shows, going to war against Washington
in a fair-fight is suicide.

Talk of constitutional hardball is in the air. In the wake of Brett
Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, liberal commentators have
been pondering tactics such as impeachment, jurisdiction stripping, and
especially “packing the court” to a degree that would have been unthinkable
a few years ago. Senate Republicans have played vigorous hardball on
Supreme Court appointments in the past two Congresses, most obviously by
refusing to consider Merrick Garland’s nomination, and there is a strong
desire among many Democrats to respond with equal or greater vigor.

In the wake of the breakdown of the British- orchestrated "Russiagate" coup

Democratic Party has unleashed Jacobin mobs and maenads to physically

After Khashoggi, U.S. Arms Sales to the Saudis Are Essential Leverage

Eighteen months ago, Donald Trump visited Saudi Arabia and said he had

news then and it’s still fake news today. The Saudis have not concluded a
single major arms deal with Washington on Trump’s watch. Nonetheless, the

Washington has as it contemplates reacting to the alleged murder of Jamal

The Next Recession And Climate Change
Larry Elliott writes that the next recession will be complicated by climate
change. The outlook is grim. And the solutions are not as simple as they
were during the Great Depression:
The threat posed by global warming means the current crisis of capitalism
is more acute than that of the 1930s, because all that was really required
then was a boost to growth, provided by the New Deal, cheap money, tougher
controls on finance and rearmament. In today’s context, a plain vanilla
go-for-growth strategy would be suicidal.

*Israeli pilots who tested out the aircraft were quite impressed. While

Mohammed Bin Salman: The Character Behind The Caricatures

The take home is that the presence of spirit oddities can be addressed

lack methodology.
