- ( Does anybody know why Canada has economic sanctions against Syria ? Just the usual 'me too' with US and UK would be my first guess. After all, how much sanctimonious outrage is appropriate for unproven allegations where site inspections were interrupted by US bombs ? You really have to wonder how much good 'pressure on Syria' is going to do when they are not so much the cause of violence as the victims of it )
