Sleazy Sell-Out. “Sunny Days”. Part II *The Bank of Canada* *Written by Robin Mathews April 2016* We have come upon a brilliant example, here in Canada, of what Anthony Hall calls *“imperial globalization*” and “*the terror economy*” (Earth Into Property, McGill-Queen’s, 2011.) Those are terms which describe the move to ‘*world government’* by increasingly unregulated (and increasingly criminal) global Capitalism backed by U.S. imperial military might. *“War, Football, and Realism: If Any”* by Fred Reed “War may be thought of in two ways. First, as a football game between armies, in which the function of the citizenry is to cheer for the home team. In football, success is measured in points scored, yardage gained, brilliance of play, and time of possession. In war as football, it is battles won, enemies killed, territory conquered. The crucial goal is to defeat the other side’s armed forces. Doing so constitutes victory. As global freshwater supplies continue to shrink, many countries have switched to using treated wastewater (filtered sewage water) for both large-scale and household vegetable growing. *Navy Times*: *This is why the Navy didn't shoot down Russian jets* Russian pilots rattled nerves aboard the destroyer Donald Cook, buzzing within yards of the ship in the Baltic Sea. Sky News reports: The overflights are said to have occurred on Monday and Tuesday and were described by US officials as “more aggressive than anything we’ve seen in some time”. White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the incident “raises serious safety concerns” and the US is “concerned...more »

Six Reasons Why We Might Be Aliens

Sean Adl-Tabatabai at Your News Wire - 1 day ago
Is it possible that mankind was brought to Earth as part of an alien experiment on evolution? The following list outlines reasons why humans may not be native to this planet, and may have been brought here by an extraterrestrial race who escaped a destroyed world. 1. Sunlight Humans, in contrast with other species, cannot sunbath for more than a given time per day without getting sunburned. This indicates that the human body was not designed for constant exposure to the sun. The same can be said for our eyes, our eyes are very sensitive to the sunlight around us and without being ta... more »

We do not like blood, but we can let the blood flow when it is needed.” RT.com reports: The organization has distanced itself from Lelyani’s comments, saying that its main goal is to work towards equal rights. One Man’s First-Hand Experience With Reptilians

Royce Christyn at Your News Wire - 1 day ago
A man who has had some frightening experiences with reptilians has written his first-hand account and it is catching fire across the internet. We are producing it here in full for you to form your own opinion about his account: It was my great misfortune to be born into a family who were members of a religious sect comprised of some the most ignorant and narrow-minded bigots I have ever encountered – the Plymouth Brethen. As a result of continual daily brainwashing since the earliest age, I initially tried to fit the psychic and spiritual experiences which I had as a young child int... more »

Reasonable Doubt

James C Morton at Morton's Musings - 1 day ago
Anyone charged with a criminal offence in Canada is presumed to be innocent. That is just a fancy way of saying that the prosecution must prove someone charged with a crime is guilty. If the prosecution does not prove someone is guilty that case against them fails and they must be acquitted. What proving someone guilty means is not immediately obvious. It could mean it is more likely than not that they committed the crime. Or it could mean they very likely did commit the crime. Or it could mean there is no reasonable doubt but they committed the crime. In Canada the last of... more »

Trump's Not The Only One Like That... Do You Remember Leona Helsmely? And There's Steve Wynn

DownWithTyranny at DownWithTyranny! - 1 day ago
Remember Leona Helmsley? She had her moment of tabloid fame in the '80s. A crooked real estate agent whose real estate license was suspended, she married an elderly, rich real estate developer who owned the Helmsley Palace, right down the blocked from my NYC office. She was a billionaire who refused it pay contractors who worked for her and was eventually found guilty of tax evasion (and extortion). That's when she became infamous and a poster child for what Bernie refers to as "the millionaire and billionaire class." At the trial a housekeeper who worked at the Helmsley mansion in... more »

Big Brother and UFOs

KRandle at A Different Perspective - 1 day ago
I was channel surfing the other night and came onto a commercial for an upcoming program about a woman who had been abducted and murdered. What caught my attention was that they showed the woman using an ATM, walking in a mall, and later in her car and what looked like the arm of a man who had hidden in the backseat. In other words, her activities on that day had been documented to what I think of as a frightening extent. Nearly her every action was caught on video equipment; all used legally, all installed for safety, and putting all our lives under scrutiny. I’ve seen the same thi... more »

Hoekstra: It ended a number of years ago when they, Stanford, eliminated a requirement that students have a requirement to study the history of Western civilization. And the good thing is now there's a group of students on campus who got a petition signed by, I think it was like roughly 350 of their peers, to have a vote on whether Western civiliza... more »
