Supposed members of the Anonymous hacktivist have now threatened cyber strikes on Israel within days of issuing a similar threat against North Korea.

The group appears to be running Operation Israel alongside Operation Free Korea, which calls for democratic rule, an end to the nuclear program and uncensored internet access.


Turning its attention to Israel, the group has threatened to launch a cyber attack on Israeli websites on Sunday, 7 April on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day.

In a statement, Anonymous said “elite cyber-squadrons” around the world will unite in solidarity with the Palestinian people to “disrupt and erase Israel from cyberspace”.
