'words dilute meaning'
Eric Hoffer : Wordiness is a sickness of American writing. Too many

EU "Restoring" Ties with Thailand Symbolic, Foreign Interference Will Continue
December 21, 2017 ( Joseph Thomas - NEO ) - A mid-December announcement
by the European Union was made stating that the EU had agreed to
restore ties with the Southeast Asian Kingdom of Thailand "at all
levels" after suspending them in 2014 in the wake of a military coup
which ousted the government of Yingluck Shinawatra. AFP reported in its
article, " EU resumes official contacts with Thai junta
US Plans Slash and Burn of Middle East to "Minimize" Iranian Influence
December 18, 2017 ( Tony Cartalucci - NEO ) - The US is attempting to
sell to the public the next phase of its continued occupation and
military operations across the Middle East. Predicated on claims of
"rebuilding" Iraq and "fighting terrorists" in Syria, it is in actuality
a plan to perpetuate for as long as possible the upheaval currently
consuming the region in hopes of overextending and exh

The unasked question about "Russiagate"
As
I see it, there are four facets or different aspects to the whole
Russiagate issue: 1) Is it true? Who hacked into or leaked emails from
the DNC and John Podesta? Did the Russian government place ads on
Facebook or just some random politically active Russians (or even the
CIA)? I'm not going to address that here, just putting this out as issue
#1. 2) Did it have any effect on the elections? Did
Trump brags about his ratings
If you haven't seen this clip of Trump talking about his "ratings", you
must see it. While the Republicans are all about using Trump and their
current 3-branch majority to accomplish all sorts of objectionable
things, for Trump itself it's basically about one thing — keeping his
ratings up so his "show" is renewed three years from now. Everything he
does and especially everything he says is a mea
CBS Takes on RT; Falls on its Face
I
honestly don't think it's my preexisting bias to say that Margarita
Simonyan, Editor-in-Chief of RT, absolutely destroys CBS' Leslie Stahl
in this interview . Stahl does a great job parroting U.S. accusations
but little else, starting with an unimportant but basic factual error
("RT" no longer stands for "Russia Today", just like "KFC" no longer
stands for "Kentucky Fried Chicken") and going on
U.S. government goes after Sputnik Radio
The
U.S. government has now demanded that Sputnik radio register as a
“foreign agent”, an outrageous assault on free speech and nothing less
than an attempt to enforce media conformity in this country. I listen to
two shows on Sputnik, Loud and Clear and By Any Means Necessary . Both
are hosted by American socialists. Another show (that I don’t listen to)
is hosted by a conservative Trump supporte

Unite Nation’s Rebuke: President Trump Political Blunder
Recently, President Trump declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,
and that the US Embassy will be relocated in it. Such political decision
is in violation of all UN resolution and of International Law.
Jerusalem and the West Bank were illegally occupied during the 1967 war.
The occupation was condemned by the UN. It instructed Israel to retreat
to the 1967 boundaries as stated by the UN Reso

Happy New Year
Welcome back, everyone! I hope you had (or are still having) a great
break, and are ready (or almost ready) to dive into a new year. Here
then, through the words of author Neil Gaiman, are my best wishes for
your new year: "May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and
good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who
thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make s
Happy Christmas -- from Frank Lloyd Wright and us!
Architect Frank Lloyd Wright used to send out his poetic Christmas
message every year. So I do too. He called it “Man the Enlightened
Being.” “The herd disappears and reappears," says Wright's message, "but
the sovereignty of the individual persists." What better time of year
to take time out to reflect on that.* L iterature tells about man.
Architecture presents him. The Architecture that our ma
QotD: "The secular meaning of the Christmas holiday ... "
"The secular meaning of the Christmas holiday is wider than the tenets
of any particular religion: it is good will toward men... “The charming
aspect of Christmas is the fact that it expresses good will in a
cheerful, happy, benevolent, non-sacrificial way. One says: ‘Merry
Christmas’—not ‘Weep and Repent.’ And the good will is expressed in a
material, earthly form—by giving presents to one’s fri
