Tony Blair wants to give 106 Labour candidates fighting marginal seats a thousand quid. For CLPs used to campaigning on a shoestring, that could stretch a long way. If you didn't read my take-down, yesterday, of US-American right-winger Kurt Schlicter (and judging from my stats, most of you didn't) you'd have read that Mr. Schlicter denies the following: - global warming - that the war on terror is bullshit - rape culture - racism On top of all that, he says that feminism and "liberal" males are responsible for most sexual assaults, that all poor people are lazy scammers and that all "illegal" aliens should be deported. Nearly At ‘Full Employment’? 10 Reasons Why The Unemployment Numbers Are A Massive Lie
Michael Snyder On Friday, we learned that the official “unemployment rate” has fallen to 5.5 percent. In fact, according to the Wall Street Journal, some Federal Reserve officials believe that "the U.S. economy is already at full employment." But how can this possibly be? It certainly does not square with reality. Personally, I know people that have been ... more »

UFO at the Bottom of the Baltic Sea Cuts off Electrical Equipment when Divers get within 200m
[image: imagee] Two hundred meters is a huge distance for a powerful field to interfere with our electrics. In fact it links well to the effects reported generated by UFOs and nothing else as well. This will make data gathering much more difficult. Now it think we may be dealing with a crashed UFO covered with a layer of sea silt or ooze that has accumulated for thousands of years. It is certainly not a geological object. One other think, this object is close to neutral density. It failed to deeply gouge the sea floor at all but appears to have merely flattened the sea flo... more »
How Was The Great Pyramid At Giza Constructed?
This is an excellent analysis of the difficulties of internal ramping systems or for that matter external ramping systems or for that matter any such ramp at all. They can be used for much smaller structures and have been but never for something this huge. As i have posted in the past, i did figure out how to actually do this using what was available to them and it was no easy problem requiring independent insights from different technologies. It took me a full twenty years to gather the clues and put it together. These types of problems demand almost random investigations fal... more »
Tehran Bomb With Conrad Black
The worsening tragedy of Islam is slowly engaging the whole world including China, no matter how hard they all strive to appease and to placate. Every appeasement is met with another outrage. Obama's great contribution was to extract the USA from the active ground war. This appeasement merely encouraged worse explosions and the leap in civil disobedience call shepherd by the worse tendencies of radical Islam. We are all learning something. It is that we cannot live with any form of Islam because Islam refuses to ever live with us. It is not a unilateral choice or decision... more »
Defending the Niqab Nan with Salim Mansur
This is a welcome clarification. These dress codes are all tribal impositions aimed at allowing the community to demand a communal dress code and is nothing else. Get over it. That religious leaders use it to impose discipline on their flock needs to be understood as just that. Attempting to impose it outside their community as such is egregious and offensive in fact and an abuse of all sense we have of common law practice. That we will be forced to legislate on it is unfortunate. Such impositions by other faiths have been tolerated generally because they themselves ch... more »

Israelis agree: Americans are mindless dupes
A recent article appearing in *The Jewish Daily Forward* offered some revealing insights into what "America's greatest ally" in the Middle East, the Jewish state of Israel, and her people think about the nature of America and the American people. The majority of Israelis, despite being a "famously fractious" people, tend to agree on one thing: Americans are gullible dupes. According to the article, Israelis disdain Americans, view us with contempt, and think we are idiotic, mindless dupes who will blindly accept and believe anything the Jews say (a view that is largely correct, unfo... more »

Alberta PC's Show Their True Colours
As I expected, the PC riding association in Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo selected Mike Allen as the PC candidate for an anticipated spring election. To say that I am unimpressed that our region may very well be represented by a sex pervert would be an understatement. I'm sure this post will draw fire from some quarters. Frankly, I just don't care. It's unconscionable to have someone convicted of a sex crime in public office. Period. A few days ago, the Premier drew the ire of some by suggesting Albertans need only look in the mirror to see who is responsible for the financial mes... more »

What Do You Mean The 3rd Dimension Is Going Away?
*Some authors use the term "density" rather than "dimension" which I think is closer to the concept of what is going on. When we say 3D we tend to think of X, Y, and Z coordinates of space on a graph, and it becomes hard to imagine an axis perpindicular to all those in 4D or 5D, although that is mathematically possible. * *Those I have talked to about the concept suggest its really a quantum like energy level, or perhaps better stated as an "octave" of energy and existence... much like music has octaves. **When you get down to it the universe is a lot like music, full of love an... more »

TV Watch: HBO's "Looking" goes into tonight's episode with a huge jolt from last week's gorgeous one
Episode 15: Inside the Episode -- *a lovely one for Doris and Dom* *by Ken* The early Season 2 episodes of *Looking* weren't easy for me. What attracted me to the show in Season 1 had a lot to do with the fact that I felt so comfortable with the characters -- not just because they're (mostly) gay but because they're people whose life struggles I can recognize and easily associate with. This season, not so much. In particular, I was on the outside looking in at this gay world that thrives on giant parties, with hideous loud music and rampant substance abuse. I'm not saying such thi... more »
Who Done It?
It took the combined efforts of the FSB/SKR/MVD one week to make the first arrests in the case of the murder of Nemtsov: a group of 7 men, all from the North Caucasus were arrested. A sixth man killed himself with a hand grenade in Grozny when he was about to be arrested. Two of them are Zaur Dadaev and Anzor Gubashev, who were identified as key suspects in the killing of Nemtsov after their detention on Saturday. The prosecutors asked the court to arrest the duo by April 28, the current deadline for the investigation, saying that otherwise they may flee or interfere with the in... more »
OMNI does Free Planet vs War World
I was a big sci-fi nut as a teen and a big fan of the glossy, weighty OMNI magazine. Now, they're relaunched as OMNI-reboot and are featuring my Free Planet vs War World novel dual-trilogies. *Mankind is a push over, he loves being told what to do. He is told when to eat. And how much. He is told what to do, how to think. But is there a real-mankind ready and willing to die for his freedom?* That's how the new article on OMNI-reboot opens.
Quote of the day: On economists’ implicit “tribal premise”
“The success of capitalism is explained by the *[Encyclopaedia] Britannica* (1964) as follows: “’ *Productive use of the "social surplus" was the special virtue that enabled capitalism to outstrip all prior economic systems. Instead of building pyramids and cathedrals, those in command of the social surplus chose to invest in ships, warehouses, raw materials, finished goods and other material forms of wealth. The social surplus was thus converted into enlarged productive capacity.* “This is said about a time when Europe's population subsisted in such pover... more »

Two are agents of the US government. One is an agent of the Israeli government. Well, it's not really surprising. It's been obvious for a long time that the creation of ISIS has a lot to do with the American and Israeli governments. From their point of view, ISIS is a means to destroy Syria. For the US, it has nothing to do with Assad being a bad man. After all, Washington is full of men as bad as they get. A... more »
