*Leftist penetration of the service academies* A commander in chief can bypass Congress on many of his executive branch agendas — he just issues marching orders to cabinet secretaries and that becomes policy. Yes, Congress has some ability to object by way of vetting nominations and budgets, but the Left’s social devolution agendas bypass those checks and balances. As those agendas go, perhaps the most harmful implementation was between 2009 and 2017, the years Barack Obama was able to install military leaders who would carry out his social agenda across service branches – partic... more »

A four-room, 800-sq-ft house for under $4,000, built in one day?
If this can be successfully "industrialized" and manufactured on a large scale, it'll be one of the greatest advances in the fight against poverty ever achieved. Incredible houses printed from cement could help to end the global housing crisis, according to the company behind their creation. The properties, which are currently at the concept stage, will soon be used to provide safe shelter for people in El Salvador and could one day be expanded worldwide to house billions. Spinoza; LockeWhen he was accused by the Bishop of Worcester of being a follower of Spinoza, John Locke replied, “I am not so well read in Hobbes or Spinoza to be able to say what were their opinions in this matter.” But there is evidence to show that Locke, Spinoza’s exact contemporary, acquired Spinoza’s works immediately after their publication and thoroughly studied them. In fact, it now seems to be getting a little warm wherever Trump goes. With any luck, and if justice prevails for a change, Trump will be feeling downright hot soon, and, by that, I don't mean because of the weather.

Alarmist Greens are wrong on global warming again
This blog has constantly reported that a VOTE for the Greens is a VOTE against Australia. If you look at the Greens' policies you can see that they are anti Australian sovereignty, promoting world government. Andrew Bolt has exposed the fact that theGREENS are vultures (again) with a column: Alarmist Greens are wrong on global warming again THE Greens are vultures. They flap in to feed off every natural disaster, screeching: “Global warming!” They’ve done it again with the fires in NSW and Victoria and the cyclone that hit Darwin. *INSURANCE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA DECLARES SOUTHWEST...more »

Overheated: How Flawed Analyses Overestimate the Costs of Climate Change
Oren Cass A report by Oren Cass for Manhatten Institute: ABSTRACT (link) Prominent recent studies that forecast the cost of human-caused climate change rely on statistical analyses of the effects of temperature variation. These correlation-based, temperature-impact studies start with present-day relationships between temperatures and outcomes such as mortality or economic growth. They extrapolate from those relationships a proportionally larger response to long-term projected climate warming and assign dollar values to the very large impacts that appear to emerge. Could America Stop a Cruise Missile or Hypersonic Weapons Attack by Russia or China?
*Dave Majumdar* *Security, * The Defense Department is looking at ways to prevent an enemy from being able to launch a weapon in the first place. With Russia and China developing advanced cruise missiles and weapons such as hypersonic boost-glide vehicles, the United States is looking at ways to defeat threats other than incoming intercontinental ballistic missiles. Moreover, the Pentagon recognizes that it might not be able to stop an incoming missile before it launches, thus the Defense Department is looking at ways to prevent an enemy from being able to launch a weapon in the ... more »
General: U.S. Needs New Generation of Nuclear Weapons to Counter Russia, China and North Korea
*Dave Majumdar* *Security, * But is it a good idea? The United States needs a new generation of non-strategic nuclear weapons of various yields so that Washington has options to escalate during a potential nuclear war, according to U.S. Strategic Command. That is the reason that the Trump Administration’s Nuclear Posture Review (NPR) calls for the development of new low yield nuclear weapons. “While our nuclear posture is successful in deterring our adversaries today, we require a mix of yields and improved platforms to credibly deter the threats of the near future,” Gen. Saudi Fragility, and Why MbS Is No Ataturk
*Paul R. Pillar* *Saudi Arabia, Middle East* One of the more intriguing news reports about the rapid rise to power of the 32-year-old Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman (MbS), concerns how he isolated his mother, placing her under house arrest for a time. He kept her away from his father, the mentally declining King Salman, and devised phony explanations to the king as to why she was out of sight for so long. MbS reportedly was worried that his mother might have opposed his power grab and in the interest of family unity would have urged the king to stop it. There is more... more »
Mark Zuckerberg Announces that Facebook is an Information Fiduciary
Today in response to the Cambridge Analytica scandal, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced what I have long contended-- that Facebook is an information fiduciary. Indeed, along with Google, it is one of the most important information fiduciaries in our present age. Of course, Zuckerberg didn't actually use the words "information fiduciary." But he did say two things that are effectively equivalent to it. First, he said: We have a responsibility to protect your data, and if we can't then we don't deserve to serve you. I've been working to understand exactly what happened and ... more »
Who Will Bring Down Trump? Mueller? Stormy? Or Is It Us?

But it gets worse. 55% of voters say he has no sense of decency and 67% say he isn't a good role model for children. (29% of voters say he *is* a good role model. Top 5 Pet Foods That Tested HIGH for Lead, BPA, and Toxic Contaminants (plus top five to use instead)
Pet cancers are on the rise, just like cancer in humans. Some breeds of dogs, such as the golden retriever, have a 60% chance of getting cancer in their lifetime (a slightly higher prevalence than people). Smaller dogs and cats have a lower risk, but all pets are at risk for this disease. Aside from some genetic mutations pets have gone through in the name of purebred breeds, the big culprit of pet cancer growth is hidden in environmental factors – particular what food they eat. Just as processed food we eat is a recently new movement, our pets also used to eat home cooked meals,... more »

Trevor Smith, 52 years old at the time, was diagnosed with bladder cancer stage T2a – the tumor has grown into the inner half of the muscle layer. His prognosis as told by mainstream doctors was very poor. He was told that he needed all three conventional cancer treatments: chemotherapy, radiation and surgery to remove his prostate, bladder and lymph nodes. What the doctors did not tell him is that his life expectancy after the surgery was only 2 to 2.5 years (it was said to be up to 2 years if he refused treatment). His treatment would also cause him to be incontinent for up to a y... more »
