The Fallen Angels and the Nephilim
The claim that a text challenges present understanding is irrelevant. Neither have a monopoly on truth but are attempts to describe faithfully an understanding to which we need to become sympathetic. The second problem is that marriage between a master race and a subjected race must be between two races of humanity. At best this involved human giants for which we have archeological evidence. None of this produces the Nephilim who are surely an alien life form plausibly responsible fior the rise of man. Again we have convincing archeological evidence in Peru. I have little ... more »
BITCOIN vs. GOLD:
It is actually a good time to think about this. The fundamental problem with Bitcoin is that the rules can be changed. This happens all the time in the securities business producing massive losses. From my perspective it is actually only a matter of time. Lawyers are not paid to preserve the status quo but to turn things to the advantage of his client. Thus every lawyer out there is scheming to print bitcoins at no cost. Getting past that problem and it becomes a store of value in the same way Gold is. What makes gold work is how hard it is to produce. That still might cha... more »
Mainstream media COMPLICIT in excusing global terrorism as London suffers deadly ISIS-linked attack:

What i have learned from much effort is that every scrap of evidence needs to be viewed by every possible educated eyeball and that no eyeball should be held in extreme repute. This allows the creation of a set of reports that should ultimately exceed two dozen. Then it is also possible to define a set of what i have called conforming data. Even better each eyeball sees a generalized image but then hones in on a particular aspect. In this item i observe that the theology thinks man is responsible for his destiny. Rather an important question when we see ample evidence that ou... more »

Why the latest wave of terrorism will get worse before it gets better

The latest attacks in London and Manchester – like last year’s attacks in Orlando, Florida and St. Cloud, Minnesota – epitomize what I call the newest form of terrorism. The newest terrorists aim to kill as many people as possible, as frequently as possible, as horrifically as possible, intimately, suicidally, with the most accessible weapons, in the most accessible public spaces. Defining what terrorism is can be contentious but over the years scholars have identified several distinct waves. The “old” wave of terrorism from the 1960s was largely secular, aiming for political repr... more »

Commentaries And Analysis On The Possibility Of A U.S. - Russian War Over Syria

When a US Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet shot down a Russian-made Syrian SU-22 warplane after it reportedly attacked US-supported fighters near the embattled city of Raqqa, it did not take long for Moscow to respond to what it viewed as an "aggression" against Syrian government forces, which the Kremlin ba... more »

Breaking News: Another Day, Another Provocation - Who is in Charge of the US Navy?
*"NATO" US Fighter Jet Threatens Russian* *Defense Minister Jet in Neutral* *Skies over Baltic Sea* *A*nother day, another provocation, by the out-of-control US Navy. As I said earlier this week. The US Navy for a long time now has been acting like a "rogue" within a "rogue State". I have a particular axe to grind with the US Navy...because it was US Navy so-called "reserve" jet fighter pilots, flying out of a US airbase in one of the Arab countries that attacked the Canadian soldiers doing live fire night time exercises at Tarnak Farm just outside of the flood-lit (restricted air... more »

Critical Theory / Cultural Marxism and how it affects you...
*because it does.* I am currently reading two novels - one about a young boy growing up during the rise and fall of Hitler and the other about a man in post revolutionary Russia. Both are frightening. If you've ever wondered how our country evolved into the current mess, take a moment and watch the following video. While the producer hits the main points there is much more to be understood and I urge you to delve deeper into the the morass. In support of capitalism, I'm headed to Costco and the grocery store with a quick stop at the library (supported by my tax dollars) for "free... more »

The activity appears to involve some modifications around one of the tunnel entrances to an underground test area. Pol. Ideology 71, Georgism and the geolibertarians
A friend posted in one of my fb groups this question, "Do free markets and privatization encourage monopolies?" I replied that innovation creates temporary micro monopolies. Government franchising, local and natl govts, create permanent monopolies. From tricycle route monopoly to electric coop area monopoly. Then a fan of Georgism or geolibertarianism argued that “Privatization of land and natural resources encourages land monopolies.” (I got this meme from the web, which I think somehow simplifies the definitions.) These guys dislike land privatization, they want communal or stat... more »
12 years after researcher found guilty of misconduct, journal retracts paper
In 2005, the U.S. Office of Research Integrity found an obesity researcher had engaged in scientific misconduct. More specifically, the ORI report revealed that Eric Poehlman, then based at the University of Vermont, had “falsified and fabricated” data in 10 papers. The 2005 report asked that the journals issue retractions or corrections to the papers. "Coming Apart: The Imperial City At The Brink"
*Thomas Cole, "Destruction of Empire", 1836* *"Coming Apart: The Imperial City At The Brink"* by Alastair Crooke "David Stockman routinely refers to President Trump as the ‘Great Disrupter’. But this is not a bad quality, he insists. Rather, it is a necessary one: Stockman argues (my paraphrasing) that Trump represents the outside force, the externality, that tips a ‘world system’ over the brink: It has to tip over the brink, because systems become too ossified, too far out on their ‘branch’ to be able to reform themselves. It does not really matter so much, whether the agency of... more »
For weeks Michael Flynn continued to sit in on top secret intelligence briefings even after it was determined that he had been compromised.
Courtesy of the New York Times: *Senior officials across the government became convinced in January that the incoming national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, had become vulnerable to Russian blackmail. * *At the F.B.I., the C.I.A., the Justice Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence — agencies responsible for keeping American secrets safe from foreign spies — career officials agreed that Mr. Flynn represented an urgent problem. * *Yet nearly every day for three weeks, the new C.I.A. director, Mike Pompeo, sat in the Oval Office and briefed President... more »

My Take On The Republican Victory In Georgia's Special Congressional Election
*Reuters*: *Trump seizes on Republican victory in Georgia to push agenda* U.S. President Donald Trump knocked Democrats on Wednesday for obstructing his agenda, one day after a fellow Republican won a congressional race in Georgia that was widely seen as a referendum on his young, turbulent presidency. Former Georgia secretary of state Karen Handel on Tuesday defeated political newcomer Democrat Jon Ossoff, 52 percent to 48 percent. The 4-point win in the most expensive congressional race in history was a blow to Democrats, who sought to wrest control of a suburban Atlanta distric... more »
BWorld 139, State central planning vs household decentralized planning
* This is my column in BusinessWorld last week. *“The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design... Planning leads to dictatorship because dictatorship is the most effective instrument of coercion and the enforcement of ideals and, as such, essential if central planning on a large scale is to be possible.”*-- Friedrich Hayek The bigger the socioeconomic unit like a state, the less central planning should be. And the smaller the socioeconomic unit like a household, the bigger the planning should be. The fami... more »
How To Beat A Republican Incumbent-- Katie Hill Is Mobilizing Everyone
You know what scares me? That I might not be representing a Blue America candidate accurately enough, that I miss up on something important. That’s one of the reasons I encourage them to write guest posts. It’s why I’m always asking them for substantive quotes on issues before Congress. Katie Hill calls herself “the progressive alternative to Steve Knight.” The DCCC dug up some slug from Orange County last year who they ran and who lost badly-- despite Hillary’s big win in the district. The same voters who cast their ballots for her, just couldn’t bring themselves to cast one for h... more »
