What Do People In Other Countries Think About Hillary And Trump?

I don't know who watches Samantha Bee's show outside of the U.S., or if it's even available in other countries but I had to get in the segment she ran on Halloween night (half above and half below). Pollfish asked 3,500 people across six countries-- Canada, France, Germany, Russia, Mexico, and the UK-- as well as Latinos residing in the U.S., to weigh in on the U.S. presidential elections. Here are some of the key findings from the polls they ran. *• 60% of the world would vote for Hillary Over Trump* Across the eight countries, 24% of respondents voiced support for Trump, and ... more »

As of today, I am now convinced that the deep state has turned on Hillary Clinton and will unveil damning evidence in the next few days that will end the Clintons’ reign of terror over America and collapse her bid for the presidency. We are big Star Wars fan. Don't believe me? I am not sure if is sad or awesome that I have quite a few more pictures like that I could show you. I have loved introducing my kids to Star Wars, seeing their reaction when they realize that Darth Vader is Luke's Father and see Rey use The Force for the first time. When I came up with the idea of a C3PO necklace that pays tribute to his red arm, I couldn't help but make one for my younger daughter. She is the droid fan in the house. I partnered up with Fizzy Pops on this fun and geeky necklace. They have hands down the best materia... more »

5,198 Dead And Wounded In Iraq In Oct 2016

There were over 5,000 casualties reported in Iraq in October 2016. That was the second highest amount of the year. The large number of dead and wounded was largely due to a huge number of executions by the Islamic State as it lost ground during the Mosul campaign. There were 586 incidents recorded in October 2016. That was roughly in line with the 573 in September and 574 in August. There were likely more attacks in October because when the Mosul campaign opened in the third week of the month only one or two papers were carrying news about security in the rest of the country. Palestinians Demand UK Apology For Balfour Declaration

Edmondo Burr at Your News Wire - 18 hours ago
Palestinians are demanding the UK issue a formal apology and take responsibility for its colonial legacy in Palestine. A campaign to hold the UK responsible for the suffering of Palestinians for almost a century is gaining momentum with the launch of a new parliamentary petition. The state of Israel was created after colonial Britain obliged a Jewish lobby demand for the existence of a Jewish state in the Middle East. The British reasoning might have had something to do with culture and religion or the politics of the time between Germans, British, Ottoman Turks and Arabs. Or it m... more »

What's really happening with public opinion in the USA? Are the opinion polls reflecting reality?

This Zero Hedge post from last week was fascinating and I apologise for not posting it until now. Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary. Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats. ‘Killers having lunch’: The real life Wolves of Wall Street

A London solicitor has begun a legal battle with an online investment company that is accused of scamming people from all over the world. If successful the case could open the floodgates to thousands of claimants who say they have been ripped off by what is known as binary options - a scheme sold as an investment opportunity that in reality is a gamble or straight-up scam. Hillary Clinton and Peter Woit

Luboš Motl at The Reference Frame - 19 hours ago
Peter Woit, a notorious pseudointellectual warrior against modern theoretical physics, has joined several other leftists in the Academia (including Susskind, Tao, Aaronson) and ordered his readers to vote for Hillary Clinton and against Donald Trump. Woit seems less detached from reality than e.g. Terry Tao but the simple-mindedness, emptiness, and evil of his type of argumentation is still shocking. In the first paragraph, he says that we don't live in normal times and the U.S. democracy is in a "disturbing state". To sketch how we wants to fix the "disturbing state", he announce... more »

Driving up to the state of New York yesterday, we passed through gorgeous fall foliage, counting 11 dead deer beside the road, nine signs for Trump, and zero for Clinton. Insider: FBI Gave Emails To WikiLeaks To Prevent ‘Clinton Coup’

The emails released by WikiLeaks were leaked by brave members of the US intelligence community in an effort to expose Hillary Clinton’s corruption and stop her being elected, according to State Department insider Steve Pieczenik. The Shenandoah Valley Prehistory with Richard Thornton.

arclein at Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
The Shenandoah valley should be a natural gold mine for archaeology. This item proves that conjecture. The valley itself is agriculturally rich while also easily defended by settled peoples. What i mean by all that is that access is channeled along the valley bottom and can be easily blocked in the face of invaders. Think Thermopylae.. Better yet, in the face of superior forces you retreat up hill into land you are familiar with and remain a constant threat just out of sight. Think Afghanistan. Thus a rich densely populated valley could evolve here early and it ... more »

Geoengineering – First Order Insanity

arclein at Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
I do not care too much because i simply fail to see how they can actually do enough to actually matter. Volcanoes are quite another matter. They can convert a cubic mile of rock into airborne dust. That is ample to create a mess. That is well over ten billion tons. It represents a vast mining operation and not feasible. Thus we are likely dealing with much less and it is likely fly ash. That is still far too little to have any practical effect. It all sounds like pseudoscience hard at work supported by a government boondoggle aimed at keeping someone's air fleet working.... more »

Hollow Earth Comments

arclein at Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
Any proposed hollow earth will be a shell that may be several hundred miles thick. The shell produces the gravity and that means that our gravity will match that on the inside of the shell. As well there will be plausibly an opening at the poles that will actually be plugged. It provides a prospective thin zone allowing access tunneling. Astonishingly, Hudson Bay solves several problems for me. The counter pole subsurface does not disprove this notion as well. If the reptilians actually exist, then it appears likely that they reside in an inner Earth rather than in habitats... more »
