Democrats believe Trump is god: Blame him for the WuHu flu
Weeks ago when Trump stood up a task force to address the WuHu Flu/Cornoavirus/Covid 19 situation the most cogent comment from the left was CNN complaining that the task for was too white. But now Democrats are falling all over themselves to blame Trump for a natural disaster; a new type of flu. Given that even insurance companies know "acts of God" when they see them it would appear that by declaring that Trump controls nature itself they must be saying he's god. That would be the most credible option if Democrat politicians and pundits actually believed in God. Just kidding. De... more »

#FakeNews media guy is hoping the WuHu Flu kills old people because they don't believe in climate catastrophe
Ed Conway who appears to have absolutely no scientific credentials is sure that climate change is going to kill us all unless of course we give the government all our money and our freedoms. Millions Dead? What If There Is No Possible Plan to Stop Climate Change?
*John Quiggin* *Environment, Americas* In some areas of human activity such as farming, we are exhausting our capacity to adapt to climate change. There is growing evidence that Earth’s systems are heading towards climate “tipping points” beyond which change becomes abrupt and unstoppable. But another tipping point is already being crossed - humanity’s capacity to adapt to a warmer world. This season’s uncontrollable bushfires overwhelmed the nation. They left 33 people dead, killed an estimated one billion animals and razed more than 10 million hectares – a land area almost the... more »

*Stratfor Worldview* *Economics, Europe* [image: https://www.reutersconnect.com/all?id=tag%3Areuters.com%2C2020%3Anewsml_RC2O3F9FD26C&share=true] What might Moscow have to do? With 2021 parliamentary elections in mind, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently announced a package of broad social measures designed to boost consumer spending and, in turn, economic growth. But while the investments are notable, they fall short of more structural advances in infrastructure development and industrial stimuli needed to significantly improve Russia's dimming financial prospects. Far more sophisticated foreign hacking continues to try to disrupt democracy, as a rare joint federal agency warning advised prior to Super Tuesday. Coronavirus: How to Show Affection During Outbreaks Without Spreading Germs
*Brian Labus* *Health, World* Here's how to do it safely. We are exposed to numerous viruses from our day-to-day interactions with other people all the time. However, our risk of being infected by a simple greeting usually isn’t in the forefront of our minds. The spread of COVID-19 has changed that. Conferences have banned handshakes, churches have changed their worship services, and even politicians have changed the way they greet each other. But what’s the risk in a simple hug or a handshake? If someone’s hand is covered in virus because they coughed into it right before the... more »

Why Chuck Schumer Should Apologize

It would be a gross understatement—and in no way a pun, intended or otherwise—to describe as “injudicious” what Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Wednesday to and about Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. “Injudicious” is defined by Webster’s New World College Dictionary as “showing poor judgment; not discreet or wise,” and the New York Democrat’s remarks were certainly that. Idaho Representative Heather Scott is apparently getting too many calls from her constituents regarding the abuses of Idaho Child Protection social workers in the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. If Biden Is The Democratic Nominee... The Presidency Will Hinge Not On Policy But On Comparisons Between His And Trump's Dishonesty, Family Members And Dementia

The physical sciences are still ruled by some remnants of a rational epistemology (which is rapidly being destroyed), but the humanities have been virtually abandoned to the primitive epistemology of mysticism. Tropical Forests May Be Heating Earth By 2035
London – Within about fifteen years, the great tropical forests of Amazonia and Africa could stop absorbing atmospheric carbon, and slowly start to release more carbon than growing trees can fix. A team of scientists from 100 research institutions has looked at the evidence from pristine tracts of tropical forest to find that – overall – the foliage soaked up the most carbon, most efficiently, more than two decades ago. Since then, the measured efficiency of the forests as a “sink” in which carbon is sequestered from the atmosphere has been dwindling. By the last decade, the ability... more »

Five days later, on 15 February, the body of a seven-year-old girl named Fátima, who had been reported missing, was found in a plastic bag. She had been kidnapped, raped, tortured and had her organs removed. In Mexico, where an average of ten women are murdered each day, many are growing restless – and angry at this level of violence. Tens of thousands are expected to take to the streets on Sunda... more »
Capitalism Is Responsible For The Deaths Of Millions Of People
The United States' corporate media is a well-oiled machine, engineered to effectively distribute misinformation to masses of politically domesticated Americans. Like apex predators, they feast upon the minds of those who are gullible enough to believe anything their pundits spew from their duplicitous mouths. Many of the corporate media talking heads are highly skilled in the art of deception. They regularly champion convenient narratives given to them from various departments within the United States' government. This is routine regardless of the cable network. If the greatest tric... more »
On International Women’s Day, Say No To Drafting Women – Or Anyone!
March 8th is International Women’s Day. It’s a day to work for women’s equality in all sectors of our world. Yet there’s one peculiar effort toward fake equality that must be vehemently opposed by feminists of all genders . . . drafting women – or anyone – into the US military. On March 26th, the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service will issue a recommendation to Congress on whether to expand the US military draft and draft registration to women – or abolish it for everyone. Their report is several years in the making, and was triggered when the male-only US... more »

New York Times Spreads The Virus Of Hatred, Again
The 2019 Novel Coronavirus, Covid 19, first detected late last year in the hub city of Wuhan, China, is a rapidly-spreading viral disease, often characterized by a cluster of acute respiratory symptoms. To date, over 85,000 people have been infected, and nearly 3,000—and counting—have died. The virulence of this outbreak has put most of China under different degrees of lockdown: over 50 million people were quarantined in the immediate region; the majority of neighboring Chinese cities implemented restrictions on travel and movement to stem the tide of infection; and across the count... more »
Trump Illegally Opened Western Colorado Forests To Coal Mining
Denver— A federal appeals court today ruled that the U.S. Forest Service illegally approved a loophole allowing the coal industry to despoil unroaded National Forest lands in western Colorado. The decision gives new hope for the protection of Colorado’s North Fork Valley and for the climate. “The Trump administration can’t sacrifice public lands at the expense of our climate,” said Jeremy Nichols, WildEarth Guardians’ climate and energy program director. “Today’s ruling is another win for the American public over the dirty coal industry and their climate-denying cronies in the fede... more »
