Hallmark and the LGBTQ political agenda
This was my first year to watch Hallmark Christmas movies--I needed a diversion. A few of the older reruns even had carols about baby Jesus. No one was forced to watch them and I was not damaged by living to 80 without seeing one. They are cheesy, corny and chaste. Too bad Hallmark is being blackmailed. And this power agenda is coming to your club, company, church, library, or workplace soon if it hasn't already. You must obey. I've looked through some of the media business articles--I see no evidence that there is a demand for this from conservatives, liberals, Christians, Jews, ... more »
Most Americans Want Drug Prices Lowered-- But The Republicans Just Will Not Permit It
Bernie has been advocating cutting prescription drug prices in half for decades. His Medicare-for-All proposal would do that. Ge wrote in his plan that "to lower the prices of prescription drugs now, we need to: *•* Allow Medicare to negotiate with the big drug companies to lower prescription drug prices with the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Act. *•* Allow patients, pharmacists, and wholesalers to buy low-cost prescription drugs from Canada and other industrialized countries with the Affordable and Safe Prescription Drug Importation Act. *•* Cut prescription drug prices in half,... more »
Hypocrisy laid bare
I didn't think it was possible for some of our politicians to sink to new lows. They've already plumbed so many depths, so shamelessly, that anything worse seemed beyond them. I was wrong. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi indicated Thursday that she would delay sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, seeking more clarity on the rules for President Trump’s trial and potentially pushing the proceedings well into the new year. Mrs. Pelosi’s comments drew condemnation from Republican lawmakers and President Trump, but the California Democrat said that she couldn’t select impeac... more »

"The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And… the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.” "Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable it... more »

Washington, D.C., December 19, 2019 – For 40 years, since the first year of the founding of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979, the United States and Iran have been the bitterest of political adversaries. I went through this argument years ago. All this material is capable of been broken down over various spans of time. Thus a cooking kettle can be kept stocked while continuously producing heat with a steady diet of all the nasties. Rather soon, the whole uranium industry will be formerly abandoned as simply way too dangerous. All that uranium can be fed into a thorium reactor and we can once and ... more »
Research Shows We Can Heal With Vibration, Frequency & Sound
It is all about vibration. The problem is getting a handle on physical scale and the frequency. It all has to be investigated through the physics and usable reality is usually in the form of a standing wave that can also be detected. We live in a world in which energy is transmitted by resonance and barely know this. We also have a body of empirical data supporting the biological effect of resonance. Rather clearly direct stimulation will trigger natural healing. Resonance will do that. Some of the methods are crude enough but do surprise with results. All this has to be pr... more »

A jump page to Wednesday’s lead story featured this text box: “A missive full of unproven charges that ignores the evidence.” Another Wednesday story by Katie Rogers […]

5th Circuit Court of Appeals Says Obamacare Individual Mandate Is Unconstitutional and Sent The Case Back to Lower Court to Decide If The Rest of It Also Is Unconstitutional
The fine print in the policies may look and read like insurance, but the reality is that they are a scheme to promise and tax until the system breaks, leaving only the political and financial elite with real health care. The rest will suffer and die prematurely and, in the meantime, live in poverty and slavery.

The F-35 Is Just Getting Started: New Weapons Are Coming To America's Premier Stealth Jet
*Kris Osborn* *Security, Americas* The weapons, now in development for several years, will build upon the existing arsenal of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons now operating on the F-35. *Key Point:* If weapons are kept in an internal weapons bay and not rested on an external weapons pod, then an aircraft can succeed in retaining its stealth properties because the shapes or contours of the weapons will not be visible to enemy radar. The F-35 will again fire its 25mm gun and air-drop several new laser-guided bombs to prepare stealth 5th-Gen fighter for future high tech warfare... more »

Why Denmark Might Not Actually Want Its New F-35 Fighters
*David Axe* *Security, Europe* [image: Reuters] What's the problem? *Key point:* These jet fighters are powerful but expensive for a small country with a small air force. The U.S. ambassador to Denmark wants the Nordic country to buy more American-designed F-35 stealth fighters. Ambassador Carla Sands’s advocacy for a “made-in-America” warplane should come as no surprise. But leaving aside the benefit to U.S. industry, Sands has a point. Denmark has too few fighters. Of course, it’s in part the fault of the country’s determination to buy the F-35 that it stands little chance of... more »
A U.S. Destroyer Almost Sank A Navy Battleship With President Roosevelt On Board
*Sebastien Roblin* *History, Asia* Too close for comfort. *Key Point:* The unluckiest ship in the Navy had one good turn left:... Patriotic action movies would have you believe military units regularly perform like well-oiled fighting machines. But sometimes reality is closer to Bill Murray’s *Stripes*. Such at least was the case of the *William D. Porter*, whose mishaps were famously immortalized in an article by Kit Bonner. Named after a swashbuckling Union Civil War captain, the *Porter* was one of 175 *Fletcher*-class destroyers built during World War II. Destroyers, dubbed... more »
