This Evening's Word: Kakistocracy... Trump Gives Understanding It A New Sense Of Urgency

And then Señor Trumpanzee waddled onto the national stage with his ever-growing and ever more grotesque menagerie of freaks and thieves. The 24.2-day semi-periodicity of KIC 8462852 was first noted in Boyajian et al. (2015) and subsequently generated some interest. It's As If Ryan And Trump Are Determined To Eviscerate The Middle Class With Their Tax Plan
On Thursday we looked at how the Trump-Ryan tax cuts for the rich will be toxic for Republicans in states where the elimination of the federal deduction for state and local taxes is significant and will mean as much as $20,000 annually flowing from the bank accounts of middle class taxpayers into the bank accounts of multimillionaires and billionaires. Since then, Maine Republican Susan Collins has told *The Hill* that she's not ready to commit to voting for the package. Brad Steiger This week, after months of frustrating attempts to coordinate our schedules, Brad Steiger and I were finally able to talk about UFOs and the Paranormal. After Brad said some very complimentary things about me, we launched into the interview. I had thought we would talk about some of the strangest of the UFO landing reports including bizarre looking aliens. We began, however, with a short description of the Socorro landing described by Lonnie Zamora and what he said that he had seen in 1964. I did surprise Brad by mentioning that there were additional witnesses to the ca... more »

Review: David Meade’s “Planet X - 2017 Arrival” - A Plagiarized Scrap Book
*Short summary: *A scrap book of nonsense. Theologically, morally, astronomically and politically abysmal. The author would not be accepted for admission to a course on astronomy at a university, never mind actually pass such a course. And it’s a similar position for theology. Most of the book, 75%, is not even written by him but just copy / pasted from the internet. It is appalling to think that this book reached the #1 position for astronomy books in Kindle on Amazon, and #5 for paperback. I’ve asked them to take it down for breach of copyright. read more
