U.S. Imposes New Sanctions On Iran
*Reuters*:* U.S. targets Iran with new sanctions over missile program* WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States on Tuesday unveiled new economic sanctions against Iran over its ballistic missile program and for contributing to regional tensions and said it was deeply concerned about its "malign activities across the Middle East." The announcements came a day after President Donald Trump's administration warned Tehran that it was not following the spirit of its 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers. The U.S. Department of Treasury said in a statement it was targeting 16 entit... more »

The U.S. Navy Wants 20 New Guided-Missile Frigates
*David Axe* *Security, * One way to get to 355 ships. The U.S. Navy has begun the process of acquiring a new guided-missile frigate, several years after decommissioning the last of its old Perry-class FFGs. On July 10, 2017, Naval Sea Systems Command formally asked the U.S. shipbuilding industry to propose designs for a new guided-missile frigate that the Navy is calling the FFG(X). The Navy wants to buy 20 of the ships between 2020 and 2030. The frigates would replace at least 20 of the Littoral Combat Ships that the sea service previously planned to acquire. Why Killing Enemy Submarines Is Not as Easy as It Use to Be

US Stumbling into War with Iran
[image: undefined] There are signs that a US military operation against Iran is imminent. Its policy statement says the armed forces are hamstrung by legal restrictions on the ability to expand military infrastructure in Syria and Iraq. How to Sustain Perpetual War (It’s Easy!)
[image: undefined] Sustaining America’s state of post-9/11 perpetual war requires skillful manipulation of the public at home. The key tool used for this purpose is the bloodless narrative, a combination of policy, falsehoods and media manipulation that creates the impression that America’s wars have few consequences, at least for Americans. How can the American government sustain its wars in the face of dead soldiers coming home? Why is there no outcry among the American people over these losses? The answer is the narrative of bloodless war. *The Dead* The bloodless war narrative... more »

Canada hit 2 critical warning signs for a financial crisis
[image: Canada fan sad] Obviously, we need to be concerned. By historical benchmarks all this leads to disaster. Yet I will now do the counter argument. The persistent collapse in interest rates has been driven by an equally persistent increase in cash and by extension credit in the economy while family incomes have risen much more slowly, though sufficient to qualify for mortgages. This has actually expanded credit demand as well. All this has caused a natural pricing change in housing. Where a mortgage payment in 1980 could support a 100,000 mortgage, that same payment t... more »

Again we have an attempt to describe the history of the folks who sustained these teachings through large tracts of time. It could not be a healthy place but necessary in order to smelt the copper in preparation for shipping. It is plausible when this enterprise was abandoned around 1159 BC, that they then sailed to Britain from Bimini and linked up with other members of their movement. Th... more »
