Deals mark January as a landmark month – even as Dems continue to waste time and try to negate voters choices

Uriel at 'Nox & Friends - 6 hours ago
ANYONE HEAR THE BANGING NOISES COMING FROM THE DC SWAMP? . That’s the sound of more than a few DC leftist heads banging on the closest walls. Why? Because the month of January has been right at the top of executive branch landmark administration months as more than a few things have been happening – from the ridiculous as Democrats marched in tragically solemn lockstep from the House to the Senate, to surprising SCOTUS decisions, and finally to the exuberant smiles of Netanyahu and Trump yesterday. This has been an extremely eventful month in our foreign negotiations. First the Whit... more »

Nikon is quitting the riflescope market - and there are some great deals to be had

Peter at Bayou Renaissance Man - 9 hours ago
A few months ago, it emerged that Nikon was planning to quit the riflescope market. This was sad news, because Nikon has produced high-quality offerings in the mid-range section of that market; but the company apparently wants to concentrate its efforts on consumer optics such as binoculars, camera lenses and the like. One can't argue with that tighter focus (you should pardon the expression). On the other hand, this means there are some great deals to be had on the company's remaining stock of riflescopes, particularly those already in vendor's stocks. (No, I'm not being paid ... more »
