Introducing A New Feature Of Down With Tyranny: The Midnight Meme Of The Day

We live in a short attention span era and memes of all kinds have become
increasingly more popular. Long before Twitter, those trying to make a
point came up with catchphrases and buzz-words. Now, with Social Media, we
have a new take or variation on the old saying, “a picture is worth a

It’s not that people shouldn’t read something that may take a few minutes
of their valuable time; they should continue to do that by all means. But,
for that quick hit or that on the run, driveby statement, memes can
certainly pack a punch. It’s just advertising when y... more »

President Trump has inadvertently shown why North Korea has been
desperately trying to develop nuclear weapons — to serve as a deterrent or
defense against one of the US national-security state storied regime-change
operations. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Venezuela and, for that
matter, other Third World countries who stand up to the US Empire, also
seeking to put their hands on nuclear weapons. What better way to deter a
US regime-change operation against them?

End Of Iran Nuke Deal? What Comes Next...
Daniel McAdams at Ron Paul Institute for Peace And Prosperity - 12 hours ago
President Trump was angry with his Secretary of State for recertifying
Iranian compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal. Even though Iran remains in
compliance with the deal. What will happen when the next recertification
comes due toward the end of summer? Will the US oppose its allies and the
United Nations by unilaterally refusing to accept that Iran is abiding by
the agreement? Already this morning the Iranian president has threatened to
pull out of the deal if the US keeps adding sanctions on Iran with no
justification. What next? Tune in to today's Liberty Report:

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Pakistan’s historically good
relations with Russia and its refusal to follow US ally Saudi Arabia into
an unnecessary conflict with Qatar and by extrapolation with Iran,
demonstrates a far-sighted geo-strategic maturity that will ultimately
benefit Pakistan greatly.
