Ending Syria’s Nightmare will Take Pressure From Below
[image: undefined] Ominous developments in east Syria have drawn the United States and Russia into closer proximity increasing the likelihood of a violent confrontation. The Trump administration has embarked on a dangerous plan to defeat the terrorist militia, ISIS, in Raqqa. But recent comments by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson suggest that Washington’s long-term strategy may conflict with Moscow’s goal of restoring Syria’s sovereign borders. Something’s got to give. Either Russia ceases its clearing operations in east Syria or Washington agrees to withdraw its US-backed force... more »
Dick Cheney Surfaces: Claims Interfering In Elections 'An Act Of War'
Former Vice President Dick Cheney told an audience recently that Russia may have committed an "act of war" by interfering in our recent presidential election, though he also claims that Donald Trump was legitimately elected. What exactly is Russia guilty of? He doesn't say, but it begs the question: if interfering in other countries' elections is an act of war, what about the estimated 80-plus elections the US is said to have interfered in? We discuss in today's Liberty Report:

"The Hound In The Kennel"
*"The Hound In The Kennel"* by John James "In my experience most of us take whatever frightens us or makes us uncomfortable and push it out of sight. This puts it into the unconscious. It does not disappear, but just lies in waiting like a faithful hound until let out. Meanwhile the conscious part can go on living as if nothing had happened. But as Carl Jung pointed out so perspicaciously, the hound keeps howling from the depth and thereby influences all that we do. So we can’t go on as before. We may try to carry on as always, but in truth everything we do is influenced by the un... more »

And now, she's just done what many naysayers believed a woman would never do: She's the first female Marine to join the infantry through the traditional entry-level training process, a process made available to women just a half-year earlier. *Read more* .... *WNU Editor*: The times ... more »
If you wanted more evidence of BBC bias, Question Time just excelled itself [VIDEO]
On Monday 27 March, the BBC showed a special ‘Britain after Brexit’ edition of Question Time. Even though UKIP now has no MPs in parliament, UKIP was still given a seat on the panel. But UKIP representative Suzanne Evans’ appearance wasn’t well-received. How many MPs? Following UKIP MP Douglas Carswell’s resignation on Saturday 25 March, the party […] The post If you wanted more evidence of BBC bias, Question Time just excelled itself [VIDEO] appeared first on The Canary.
‘Anarchy in the UK’ singer backs Brexit for some reason
John “Rotten” Lydon – a man who made a career out of being obnoxious – has come out in favour of Brexit and Trump. For some reason. Which has shocked many. As how could a man who once called for ‘Anarchy in the UK’ possibly back something as potentially catastrophic as… Brexit… or Trump… Oh […] The post ‘Anarchy in the UK’ singer backs Brexit for some reason appeared first on The Canary. The Daily Mail ‘accidentally publishes a front page from 1968’ [IMAGES]
The Daily Mail has created a furore with its latest front page. The Tuesday 28 March edition of the right-wing tabloid caused controversy, with what many people referred to as ‘Everyday Sexism’. But it also detracted from the paper’s main article. Which was a story about ‘saving’ the NHS. Nope. Not satire Dubbed ‘Legs-it’, The Mail’s front... Visit www.thecanary.co to read more.
Look what the BBC choose to omit from a report
When I read the BBC report of Mustafa Bashir attacking his then wife, Fakhara Karim, I thought how sad and terrible. Now thanks to Biasedbbc.org and The Express I know what aspects of the trial the BBC chose to omit from their reports. 'Curiously the BBC report does not include this…from the Express… Passing an 18 month jail term suspended for two years Judge Mansell QC said….. "She would buy clothes that were of a western style which you disapproved of and called her a slag and said her friends were 'English slag girls.' Why would the BBC hide the fact that a Pakistani Muslim... more »
New Power Capacity For Iran & Pakistan
By Paul Homewood Two reports from PEI this week in juxtaposition: Iran’s installed renewable power capacity is set to reach 700-850 MW within the country’s calendar year (which began on 21 March), the energy ministry announced this week. The increase would more than double Iran’s current installed renewable capacity, which deputy […]

“Proof” disproved and then further proof re Global temperature
Yesterday I proved that global temperature is controlled by the equation: T0 = L.htrop/{1- (Ptrop/p0)^(R0.L/g.M)} Where p = pressure at height h (pa) .. or … Ptrop = pressure at troposphere (assumed to be 0.1bar) p0 = pressure at surface … Continue reading →

Turnbull’s pipe is full of holes
An old friend, Ron Pike (* a retired irrigation farmer and water consultant*), had a piece published in the Australian today. Ron mentions how: Sixty-eight years earlier a visionary prime minister, Ben Chifley, announced the start of the Snowy scheme with these words: “This plan is the greatest single project in our history — it will provide vast supplies of water and power to drive decentralisation of industry and population. This is a plan for the nation and it needs the nation to back it.” The great achievement, not only made a great contribution to Australia's power future, ... more »
Sticky World
A visitor from Space (think UFO and Illegal Space Alien who may or may not speak English as a second language) would doubtless find conditions on Earth to be different than they may have before they sent spies in and among us with human skins. Cars may not turn out to be the dominant life form with biological organisms seeing to their every need like parasites...etc. You get the point. The "take me to your leader" line doesn't work on a Ford pick up waiting patiently in line at Taco Bell. Why the politics of the future is technology and technology is the future of politics
Ethical Technology - 21 hours ago
Technology drives change. And, by definition, change turns the world upside down. So it takes a perfectly good blue-blood nobleman and turns him into a pauper. It takes a king and, at best, makes him a ceremonial figurehead with no real power. It takes a shepherd and makes him a laborer, hopefully a member of the middle-class or, occasionally, a capitalist. And so, in the end, technology, as a bringer of change, is about politics. Because, as my undegraduate textbook defined it, politics is about “who gets what, from whom, under what conditions, and for what purpose.” https://ieet.... more »

Polio Wasn’t Vanquished, It Was Redefined
Not so fast. Something was producing infantile paralysis back in the day. So even if the diagnosis was cooked or simply over counted, there was a real disaese that we struggled to work with. Who can forget iron lungs. Then we did vaccination and this generally rare disease actually disappeared. Did we also master treatment as well? I am not so sure. All i do know is that i knew many victims when i was at university and saw many in my youth gimping around with a weakened leg. Yet today the problem is extinct. *Polio Wasn’t Vanquished, It Was Redefined By Enron Style Accou... more »
Texas School ‘Cures’ ADHD With One Change
Could it really be this easy and worse, have we really never done comparative studies ever?? From the bits and pieces now been done, i have to say it has always been about administrative convenience and top down thinking. Add in inspired nutrition and meditation and it all becomes much better. This is still doing the obvious and making sure it works and why do we need to be told? Did an administrative shift decades ago create generations of students unable to properly concentrate that then promoted a chemical protocol to solve the faux problem? Of course it boils down to just ... more »
Huge False Flag By The CIA Against Americans, Just Exposed By WikiLeaks
What has been uncovered is extraordinary. The Russian narrative made sense only in terms of CIA manipulation. It made scant sense in terms of Russian policy or interests for that matter. Think about that for a moment. A foreign power has to have a pretty serious interest in order to invest heavy and scarce resources to charge into to this ant hill. An American election is an unlikely target particularly when all the parties figured they had it rigged anyway. Let us recall just how unlikely Trump's election really was. It required a huge shift in popular vote in the right s... more »
Scientists Invent Oxygen Particle That If Injected, Allows You To Live Without Breathing
This is a neat trick and obviously useful. It has its limitations but it is still enough for emergencies were a solution is desperately needed. Heart attack victeims are obvious as CPR at the same time can pulse the blood at the same time to prevent damge. Better yet pulse restoration would induce a body wide flush of oxygen from an injection doing the bulk of the work in damage abatement. All good. . *Scientists Invent Oxygen Particle That If Injected, Allows You To Live Without Breathing * * by Techwench.com* *New Medical Discovery * * http://www.rise... more »
The Man Behind The Building Of The Vietnam Memorial Wants To Honor This Generation's Fallen
*Military Times*: *‘The Wall’ is turning 35, and the man behind it wants to honor this generation’s fallen* On Sunday, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will host a ceremony to commemorate the 35th anniversary of its historic groundbreaking. The idea for a memorial engraved with names of the fallen flowed from my academic research and from testimony before the Senate on what is now called post-traumatic stress, a common reaction to witnessing violence. The memorial was planned as a societal acknowledgement of those who served, funded by the American people. I started the effort in 19... more »
Pakistan Has Started To Build A Border Fence With Afghanistan
*FOX News:* *Pakistan starts building its own border fence* As the United States and many European nations try to stem the flow of violence across their borders, one country on the doorstep of one of the planet's most dangerous terror hotbeds has just broken ground on a fence of its own. Pakistan announced over the weekend it started building a fence along the Afghan border in areas where terrorists have launched cross-border attacks -- regions the Pakistani army called "high threat zones." *Read more* .... *More News On Pakistan Starting To Build A Border Fence With Afghanistan* ... more »
