To The Honourable and most Wise Minister Oliver
Today we start with the forced usage of CFL or LED lighting in Canadian
homes. I did read that some pollution indexes have gone down in Canada
which is mainly due to Canadian industries moving to Asia to produce
products with cheap labour, also that industry has found a way to get
rid of tons of toxins by putting it in every household in the form of
CFL lighting. The way to make sure that our households buy the CFL
lighting is to stop making the regular light bulbs and to put the price of LED bulbs at $25 to $45 per bulb.
On your promotional web site for the forced change to CFL the links for
CFL and mercury safety is not working. The link is down. However
another link sent me to "The Act" on an Environment Canada page. I can
see why we are politically in such a mess because you lawbreakers have a
completely different language from the rest of us 'ordinary canadians'.
You must be drunk to write this tripe and your defence is that you
were drunk when writing these laws because you have no idea what to do
when the spiral poisoned lamp busts in little baby Stephen's room. Now
the USA EPA did have information for the public and it mentioned ultra
violet radiation from the CFL a little fact ignored by you or the link
is down. (I hope that raise in income taxes can put this system to work
by rehiring scientists to give us the truth.)
I would like you
to put the price of the LED bulbs down to a reasonable price so we can
truly reap the benefit of efficient lighting and a technology with a
future and not in industrial waste and toxins being forced into the
homes and workplaces as CFL lighting.
Again you have failed the
Canadian public by trying to kill us, while your polluting friends
create a business for your dastardly deeds.

Between
November 2012 and November 2013, all of the net new jobs created in
Canada were in the lowest paid and most insecure occupational group:
sales and service jobs.
There were just 172,400 new jobs created
over this period. But sales and service employment rose by 191,700.
These jobs pay an average of just $16.50 per hour, giving the lie to the
Harper government's claim that our economy is doing just fine.
Tell
that to all the manufacturing workers, with good middle-class wages,
who learned in 2013 that their plant would be shutting down.
