'Brain Zap' Technology May Help Hardcore Smokers Quit
According to a new study, using low-intensity electric or magnetic impulses helped people go without smoking cigarettes.
- Offside to that. I smoked for over 30 years. At one point, I quit cold turkey for 7 years. But I went back to it in a time of personal stress - and had given up on the idea of quitting after repeated failures. My best friend - also a smoker - dragged me off to Laser Acupuncture Smoking Cessation Therapy. We smoked before going into the office. After, my friend could not finish 2 cigarettes. I had the jitters - he did not - and have not had a puff. Nor do I care to. The procedure was done Feb 26, 2004. Zero smokes since. It's almost like I never smoked....although I rarely dream of smoking. No craving. Miracles happen.....eventually. My friend is not smoking either - nor did his mechanic ( now deceased ), who shared how he quit.
