But what capability is required? *Here's What to Remember: "*Over the next 25 years or so—there is a role to play in ground warfare," said U.S. Army Chief of Staff General Mark A. Milley. *The main battle tank is not likely to disappear into the history books as the horse cavalry units of old did during the early part of the 20th Century, but technological advancements might fundamentally change the nature of future armored vehicles. * The U.S. Army is currently conducting an analysis of alternatives on what a ... read more

Are Tanks Still Relevant for Modern Warfare?
*Charlie Gao* *Tank Warfare, Middle East, Poland* While the Main Battle Tank has dominated ground conflict for almost the last half-century of wars, it is a very costly machine in many aspects. MBTs take a lot of resources to deploy, operate, and procure due to their heavy armor and weight. They are often not very strategically mobile, requiring shipping on ships as opposed to aircraft. *Here's What You Need to Remember: *However, its largely accepted that most of these stats are only on paper, and the tank “as displayed” is largely “cardboardium,” and a lot of time and funding w... read more

Our friends, our enemies
Think hard. Europe went to war in 1939. The U.S. did not. Wasn't that strange? In fact, the U.S. capitalists didn't give a damn about Europe. Thepr interest was in China, a country the U.S. capitalists had wanted to steal since they saw how the British had plundered China. Indeed, since 1918 the U.S. capitalists had been building their massive fleet to serve in the Pacific, with rather less in the Atlantic. And in 1939, the British, who had plundered China for centuries, needed all their troops in Europe. U.S.capitalists then put all their interest in getting control of the ruler of... read more
