Why Today's Abusers of the Scientific Method Are So Dangerous
When a legitimate discovery is worth a lot of money, it is also true that a faux discovery is also worth a lot of money until new science outs the false science. So we have the present horror in the biomedical industry in which results are even suppressed to avoid disturbing the narritive of success. It is all so increditably tempting and what is far worse, it has degenerated to a point in which the industry is no longer even looking for cures or even best practise. This is not science. This is actually cooking the books without a check mechanism to catch it up. Bad audits go ... read more
Research confirms a new forage crop for eastern Wyoming
I barely asked the question and here we have great answers. It can prosper in Wyoming and tells me that it is good to go for the entire northern Prairies right up to the boreal forests. In fact the higher moisture levels there will be very welcome. Better yet it maches high grade alpafa in terms of quality as a cover crop. I would like to see how seeding with orchard grass works as both a cover crop and fodder. That picture above looks like this would work. The root is also far more robust than alfalfa that still runs to depth over time to get deep under annual grasses. Can ... read more
FDA exposed as a criminal body parts cartel
Yikes! This is not going away at all. Understand that until the past five years, we were all oblivious to this practise since legal abortion began around fifty years ago. No one was ever on side with this business plan which why we never heard about it at all. Now the industry is been confronted with their sins through a full press court review. We can imagine just how that will work out. Is it really necessary to preserve poverty in our world and to destroy a mother's love when fixing it will make every baby important to the natural community. There is so a better way.. *F... read more
The Heart
This is a short review of this book. We have a good list of useful oddities to review here. Understanding how the heart works is not easy and counter intuitive to most of us. It is a perostaltic pump that squeezes the blood into the circulatory system. Considering what it does, it is an amazing biological device. So check through these items. *PUMP: A Natural History of the Heart (Algonquin Books: Sept 21, 2021).* *For centuries, humans have been fascinated by the heart.
