I'm keeping my eye on this case for any further developments, and as of yesterday Track finally has a lawyer assigned to his case. The lawyer is one Patrick Bergt, and he does not appear to be any of the numerous lawyers that the Palins have used in the past. Which more or less reinforces by contention that Track is not getting any help from his family at this time. In fact it's quite possible that Bergt was assigned to the case as a public defender, though it does not specify that in the Court View documents.
