There Is No Such Thing as Asian Privilege
Pearl Lo, Diverse - 6 hours ago
My mom let me know that she recently purchased a walking stick for when she and my father walk our dog. While they are entering an older stage in their lives, they are still in good health and have no issues walking. They bought the walking stick for the sole purpose of having something to defend themselves with in the case they are attacked. Though she didn’t say it explicitly, she is afraid that she might also become a victim of anti-Asian violence.

The rationale currently being used by government bodies and health agencies to prepare the public for COVID-19 "Vaccine Passports" is that they are necessary due to the current COVID-19 "pandemic," and that without such passports life cannot return to normal. *Erielle Davidson, Ari Cicurel* *China-Iran Deal, Middle East* As Beijing deliberately pursues a balance of power in the region to rival Western countries, the onus will fall on the Biden administration to challenge China’s Middle Eastern machinations, which range from intervening with America’s traditional partners to emboldening its adversaries. China and Iran recently announced a twenty-five-year “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” which seeks to increase military, defense, and security cooperation between Iran and China, to the consternation of both countries’ adversaries....
Is Russia's Secret MiG-41 Stealth Fighter For Real?

*Peter Suciu* *MiG-41, * Their production schedule is extremely ambitious, to say the least. *Here's What You Need to Remember:* In January Rostec, the Russian state-owned military tech conglomerate announced that work has begun on the aircraft's development. It seems unlikely, even dubious to suggest that the MiG-41 could be remotely on schedule to make even make its first flight by 2025 as Rostec had suggested – and highly unlikely that the aircraft could replace the MiG-31 by the end of this decade. Why the Supreme Court Needs to Assert Itself Over the Public Charge Rule
Jason Richwine, The National Interest - 7 hours ago
*Jason Richwine* *Public Charge Rule, Americas* [image: U.S. Politics] The regulatory process needs to be followed and the Supreme Court cannot allow the current administration to sidestep normal procedure. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently teamed up with a lower-court judge to perform an act of bureaucratic magic—they made the public charge rule disappear. The instant demise of one of the Trump Administration’s signature policies illustrates how immigration advocates have so effectively allied with the judiciary to frustrate enforcement...

*Desmond Lachman* *economy, Americas* All of this has to raise a basic question. Hope springs eternal at the International Monetary Fund about the emerging market economic o...

How Oil Workers And Environmentalists United In Struggle
Terrace, PopularResistance.Org - 7 hours ago
Total’s objective in recent years has been to close its refineries in France. It has found ways to refine elsewhere: in Dubai, India, China, and with plans for Africa. The objective is twofold: to refine as close as possible to the crude oil deposits, but also to do so in countries where working conditions are worse and environmental standards are lower. Disastrous consequences have resulted, such as the forced displacement of entire populations in Uganda. Even though oil refining fulfills important needs in the region around Paris, and it is very profitable, Total’s refinery in G...

Spent Grain From Beer Making As Human Food

Victory! French Farmer Prevails in Highest Court Over Monsanto After Nearly 15 Years of Legal Battles
Nick Meyer, AltHealthWorks.com - 12 hours ago
When the Germany based chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer purchased Monsanto back in 2018, they got a lot more than they bargained for, including a laundry list of legal problems related to past use of glyphosate and other toxic agricultural chemicals. While Monsanto has flexed its muscle against overmatched family farmers for several decades, the tide is beginning to turn in the legal arena, as evidenced by the recent $10 billion settlement its new parent company reached with the thousands of people who claimed they’ve been seriously harmed by Roundup. But recently, another ...
Natural Alternatives to Roundup are Quite Easy to Make

Roundup, the best selling weed killer that helped give rise to the genetically modified food and chemical monster we call Monsanto, is still popular to the uninformed masses who don’t realize the health problems it causes, but few people realize that natural Roundup alternatives are quite easy to make. It was recently revealed by the World Health Organization that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is a “probable carcinogen,” which is just one reason why we would all do well to begin removing it from our lives as much as possible. It’s bad enough that Roundup is sprayed o...
