In his theory of causal concepts, Hume posits that we know that X is the cause of Y when from our experience we see that X and Y are together. In Kant’s philosophy, the cognitive holdings that are not the result of experience, or are non-empirical, are referred to as “pure.” In his *A Critique of Pure Reason*, Kant conducts a critical examination of the forms o... more »

Crypto Terminals Offer Venezuelans a Bridge to Economic Prosperity

arclein at Terra Forming Terra - 18 hours ago
Recall that Bitcoin serves as gold and does the job conveniently. Better yet, the consumer can dip in and out as needed and can obviously dodge all government currency maneuvers. Thus we are now seeing the first real experiment in citizen currency removed from the government. I think that it is going to work out well enough that it will become an element of the general economy. However, governments do make massive transfer payments and most of that will never conveniently transfer to alternates as price security is usually necessary. *Crypto Terminals Offer Venezuelans a Br... more »

The projected growth for Africa is absurd and assumes present birth rates are even slightly sustainable when they are not. It will actually roll over during the next two decades as bith rate drop fall to the levels brought on be modernity. Full global modernity will be achieved by 2050. Countering all this will be a steady decline in death rates and the application of age reversing technology which will allow a sustainable birth rate to be established globally. This will be well under way by 2050 as well. Way more important though is that the protocols used for ending povert... more »

*[image: oyLmkZA]* This is well worthwhile but few recall that the teaching of arithmetic was rote and used time honored recipes actually disconnected with the underlying mathematics or the natural methods used by the mind to solve the problem at hand. If you are good at numbers, guess what? you develop your own protocols that do not waste your time. You even get good at it. You only use the school book system when you are tackling large numbers and the risk of losing your place is real. What this suggest is that common core problems are derived from the break between the p... more »
