Fungal Moisture
Made a curious observation today while walking through a local woodland. It looked something like this image, but that is not important. What was important is that it has been dry for weeks, yet the fungus was surrounded by wet bark to several inches and the fungus itself was clearly dripping. It was all part of a dry cutoff stump not yet rotting. This tells me that the water was pulled in through the natural root like fibers that reach out into the soils. What this really implies is that fungal fibers move not just nutrients around, but also water and this explains the unifo... read more
The English Word That Hasn’t Changed in Sound or Meaning in 8,000 Years
This is so curious, not least because I did not even encounter this word at all until I came to Vancouver. There should actually exist a subclass of stable words that have been preserved as well beside LOX. The food itself was commonly available in fresh water all over until you hit the tropics. Yet so were a lot of other things as well. Considering vowel drift and the obvious variations we see everywhere, we may well be missing something here. Note that ox is an underused sound as well. while l is not. I wonder if ox came along as well. *English Word That Hasn’t Changed i... read more

Kissinger Warns Washington Warmongers: "Not Wise To Include Ukraine In NATO"
Long before the Ukraine is formerly brought into NATO, NATO must bring Russia in. The good news is that the russian military has been fully humiliated and now clearly understand that they need to become NATO quality. This is now possible. This gives us a global military power that is united and naturally polices the rest while constraining any USA adventurism. Or anyone else of course. This can happen now while we wait for the disapation of the CCP. The final integration of the whole Eastern BLOC can then progress internally as well and we can expect a border commission as... read more
