Fuel prices . . . OUCH!!!
Yesterday I took some empty jerrycans to the gas station to refill them. I treat the contents with PRI-G to extend gasoline's useful life for up to two years, then store it as an emergency reserve, rotating the cans and refilling them on a regular basis. I expected to pay high prices, because we use more expensive, non-ethanol gas for our reserve stash (it's better for small engines like lawnmowers, and lasts longer than gas mixed with ethanol); but this was the highest it's ever been, in my experience. 30 gallons of gas cost me $132. OUCH!!! Thanks for *nothing,* Brandon!... read more

The Donbass people’s victory against Ukrainian fascism is inspiration for liberation movements worldwide
What’s been occurring in Ukraine throughout the last eight years should be closely studied by communists in the United States, Canada, and the other settler-colonial countries. Because it’s a 21st century example of what happens when oppressed nationalities are pushed to a breaking point by fascist violence, then successfully fight back to win their self-determination. In 2014, faced with a takeover by ultra-nationalists who were unleashing neo-Nazi brutality upon Ukraine, the peoples of the Donbass couldn’t afford to stay part of the country. They were the biggest targets for the p... read more

That Sweet Spray
Turns out that bidet sales surged thanks to COVID. If there ever was a product having a long cycle market penetration it is surely the bidet. There is really no way to promote this added expense into the home until someone develops a pressing need for superior cleansing. Decade after decade, it hangs in there and slowly gets adopted. Yet like most of us, I have never even tried one. Perhaps the world will now change for the lowly bidet. A Black Man Tells the Truth About Racism in America
This has been obvious for a long time. It needed to be said though. That is good and I watched that happen back in the fifties even. this was a cultural change driven first and foremost by the Holocaust.
