Can we stop feral hogs before they wreak everything?
arclein, Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
I really do not know on this one. Our problem is that wild animal husbandry is still terribly tentative in our world. We really cannot tolerate a climax preditor like a grizzly harvesting them in the fall. Black bears are no better and most other preditors are scant on the ground as they must survive the winter. The solution will take a capture program that sees the animals cleaned up and fattened for slaughter. With a fixed price, a local farmer can set a sooner trap with a remote control. suddenly it is worth his effort to capture local sooners every year. This should solve...
How the World Defeats Aging by 2035 – Aubrey de Grey Interview
arclein, Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
First off, we are slowly sliding into a global deficit of births which ultimately changes out the nature of society. This will in time need to be countered. As it turns out, life extension happens to be the best fix. It also means that life extended individuals will also have the option to have a late child. The creation of the natural community will actually make all this both practical and attractive. The present problem is that all accept death before their centenary with scant on offer to hang around even that long. All that is going to change. What you do with a hugely e...
Situation Update, April 1st: China creating “Planet of the Apes” hybrid HUMANZEE army to conquer the world
arclein, Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
The nonsense never ends, but then stupid people do stupid things. I wll give you a tip. Stupid people get killed in a firefight. Just what do you think will happen to any onslaught of stupid humanzees? They will get mowed down. This is no more than a variation on human wave tactics used by past Chinese armies. Just can not now rely on our army of litte emperors. This scheme has zero chance. *Situation Update, April 1st: China creating “Planet of the Apes” hybrid HUMANZEE army to conquer the world* *Thursday, April 01, 2021 by: Mike Adams* *Tags: badscience, biotech, evil...
gossip regarding Children's authors
arclein, Terra Forming Terra - 21 hours ago
It says much for the present state of letters among the so called literati writing for our media that any and all gossip is tarted up and fed wholesale. The truth is none of it is barely relevant and should be ignored as any ignomious jounalism should be.. Did the writer communicate with his audience? Folks able to communicate with children are both unusual and unexpected. Many things make it possible, but not the ordinary life of a fformer school yard bully. So yes, these folks had unordinary lives and may have had urges that inspired their focus. We can leave it at that ...
Did This Company Manage to Out Glock Glock?
Charlie Gao, The National Interest - 21 hours ago
*Charlie Gao* *Firearms, * ZEV already makes good Glock replacement parts. So why not just make the whole thing? *Here's What You Need to Remember: *Premium Glocks are already a crowded market, with companies such as Salient Arms International, Agency Arms, and Jagerwerks offering partial and complete upgrade packages for Glocks that can raise the price by over $1,000. ZEV probably saw the opportunity to take the logical next step and aggregate their upgrades into a pistol of their own design that they could iterate on, without being as beholden to the need to work with most reg...
What’s With the Crayons? Why the Marines Take a Lot of Heat
Alex Hollings, The National Interest - 21 hours ago
*Alex Hollings* *Marine Corps, United States* For most service members and vets, this smack-talking comes with no real animosity. If you were to ask me directly if Marines eat crayons, my personal answer would have to be yes… But there are some mitigating circumstances. If you’ve spent some time in uniform, you’re probably already familiar with a bit of inter-service rivalry. Sure, we all pick on each other in the Marine Corps, but not nearly as harshly as we may pick on some of our sister branches, and vice versa, of course. For most service members and vets, this smack-talkin...
Franchi Instinct: How Good of a Shotgun Could It Be?
Richard Douglas, The National Interest - 21 hours ago
*Richard Douglas* *Shotguns, * A relatively inexpensive yet dependable and durable shotgun that is great for hunting and self-defense. The Franchi Instinct is an affordable over/under shotgun available in a variety of configurations, including 12-gauge, 16-gauge, 20-gauge, 28-gauge, and even .410 bore. Most models are chambered for 2.75-inch and 3-inch loads, with the SL model also accepting 2.5-inch loads. In this review, I’ll be focusing mainly on the 12-gauge Instinct L model. Right out of the box, the Instinct looks very nice and sturdy. It has an A-grade satin walnut stock ...

A sincere way of life Light and light alone can heal all the illusionary illnesses that humankind has long complained about. Light brings an honest way of life, and in an honest way there is no illusion of illness in humans. Humans were taught to be sick because they were taught to be dishonest by those who mislead or give false information for their own selfish purposes. If we return to an honest way of life, we can return to healthy individuals and groups in human society. What is most needed now is "honesty." Humans have been taught to lie, just as they have been taught to deceive. When a few people impose false realities and illusions, humans can no longer see with clear eyes, feel with clear emotions, and think with clear minds. Reason no longer exists in this system of coercive control, and illness is widespread. Whenever a natural system turns into an unnatural system, illness and contradiction occur in human beings. Bacteria, microbes, viruses, and bacteria are all creations of the sick heart that have motivated others to believe in illness rather than health. Now he is focused on all kinds of weaknesses and is no longer interested in the natural strength and health of human beings nurtured by a strong mind that is not influenced by the outside world. Humans are now responding to forged rumors and lies and reinforced with forged information and statistics. this...

Nothing makes better sense to the political classes than small time demagoguery when matters turn sour. True, the United Kingdom might well be speeding ahead with vaccination numbers, and getting ever big-headed about it, but there is still good reason to distract the voters. Coronavirus continues to vex; the economy […]
Planned Parenthood wants to convince youth to alter their hormonal expression
Bob Dinn, balance10 - 22 hours ago
4-4-21 (Natural News) Of all the wonderful women’s healthcare services offered at Planned Parenthood, none can compare to their latest healthcare endeavor: neutering male children. That’s right, Planned Parenthood is now preying on adolescent boys to convince them to take synthetic hormones. Planned Parenthood isn’t content with their current operation — pressuring women to go under the knife as their child’s skull is cracked, organs harvested, and their bodily remains sucked out of the womb. When it comes to planning parenthood, why not destroy the reproductive systems of youn...

On Kaufmann’s Resurrection of Nietzsche
Unknown, The Conservative Socrates - 15 hours ago
After his death in 1900, Nietzsche acquired the reputation of a wrathful and unsystematic thinker, an apostle of teutonic chauvinism, barbarianism, and ruthlessness, whose thought has inspired the Nazi movement. His reputation was resurrected after the Second World War with the publication of new books on his life and work. The most important of these books is Walter Kaufmann’s *Nietzsche: Philosopher, Psychologist, Antichrist*, published in 1950. For Nietzsche’s ugly posthumous reputation, Kaufmann places a major part of the blame on Nietzsche’s sister Elizabeth. In 1885, she marr...

Biden’s infrastructure package: "designed to collectivize US, to regiment us, to unionize us, to make us controllable, tractable as an economy.”
Bob Dinn, balance10 - 23 hours ago
04 April 2021 04:39 PM President Joe Biden’s infrastructure proposal is meant to collectivize the nation, political strategist Dick Morris said Sunday in a harsh criticism of the bill. Speaking on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show hosted by John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM, Morris, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton, said Biden’s infrastructure package is "designed to collectivize the United States, to regiment us, to unionize us, and to make us controllable and tractable as an economy.” Stressing that “the metaphor that comes to mind is when Stalin insisted that all th...

COVID-19’s Parallel Pandemic: Why We Need a Mental Health ‘Vaccine’
Renée El-Gabalawy, Jordana Sommer, The National Interest - 23 hours ago
*Renée El-Gabalawy, Jordana Sommer* *Coronavirus, * As with the development of the vaccine to reduce the physical health impacts of the pandemic, we must also consider how to address the mental health impacts. Younger people are at lower risk of severe health outcomes if they develop COVID-19, and are therefore not a priority group for vaccine rollout. However, a silent mental health pandemic wave is in full force, and this time it is targeting younger age groups. It is well recognized that older age groups (ages 60+) are at increased risk of severe illness and death if they dev...
G11: The Insane Looking Gun That Failed Miserably

On paper the G11 was revolutionary: it offered benefits in ammunition capacity, accuracy, and weight—but here’s why it wasn’t accepted into service. The G11 was a multi-nation initiative that was ultimately pursued solely by West Germany and sought to equip soldiers with a lighter, higher-capacity, more compact, and much more accurate rifle. Though the rifle did indeed feature several novel features and me...
