World War I in the air
Here's some fascinating footage of actual World War I aircraft and missions, provided by the Australian War Memorial. It's silent, so don't bother adjusting your speakers. They've also adjusted the speed of the film, so that instead of the usual jerky, flickering playback, it's more the smooth rendition we're accustomed to today. I'm sure none of those pictured are still alive. It's sobering to think that a hundred years ago, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers were risking their lives in flimsy wood-and-canvas machines like that. What's even more astonishing, my wife's... more »

What is Pauline Christianity?
This is the most important question regarding Christianity as it informs the whole of Christendom. I am now able to properly address how it needs to be understood. First, it needs to be understood that Jesus survived his crucifixion through a combination of careful planning and preparation allowing his body to be revitalized before that became impossible. It was a real scheme that ensured his body came down in a few short hours and was quickly placed in the large tomb. Second, he was a living spiritual master and plausibly the best that ever lived and capable of pulling this ... more »

New BLACK DEATH plague strain can kill ‘in just 3 HOURS’ as lethal disease goes ‘airborne’
I have a real problem with this story. The disease is easily controlled with attentive sanitation and that is why outbreaks are uncommon and quickly brought under control.
