Ghost of Sunday Classics preview: We said it wasn't over till we heard Bruckner 9
*by Ken*
It's going to be pretty much a quick in and out tonight -- an actual, you
know, *preview*. Sunday, as you may have guessed, we finally tackle the
Bruckner Ninth Symphony. I still haven't decided whether we're going to do
the whole thing in one fell swoop, which is going to make for an extremely
large and unwieldy post, because there are any number of issues that come
up, or we're going to work our way through the piece in pieces. Either way,
here's a preview of what we're going to hear.

Corporate Bailout for Ohio’s Weakest Incumbent, Dave Joyce

polling shows Congressman Joyce is vulnerable to defeat from a Democratic

War: The Ultimate Wedge

Stephen Harper planned to win the next election on the economy and tax

Non-aligned candidate for mayor Ko Wen-je, who is supported by the

Biden Accuses Saudis, Turkey of Starting Syria Proxy WarAllies the 'Biggest

In comments yesterday at the Kennedy School, Vice President Joe Biden said
the United States’ biggest problem in the Syria war has been their allies,
singling out Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Biden said those nations had “poured hundreds of millions of dollars” into
trying to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad and in the process had created
a “proxy Sunni-Shia war” in the region.

Such an upgrade of U.S.-Taiwan relations is overdue. Now is a good time to
