New Rob Ford video, Toronto mayor drunk

CM at LILITH NEWS - 17 minutes ago
A new video of crack smoking *Toronto mayor Rob Ford* has surfaced, this time showing a drunk (and possibly high) Rob Ford talking to some men in a fast food restaurant while speaking in a fake Jamaican accent. The photo from the right and further below are from the new Rob Ford drunk video. The video has reignited calls for Rob Ford to resign as mayor and seek rehab for his drug and alcohol addiction. We must warn you, much of the language used by Rob Ford is considered offensive. The video below is uncensored.

Why Sincere Political Donors Stop Contributing To The Dysfunctional Beltway Committees

ADDICT

Saturday night, I made this spur of the moment decision to stop drinking caffeine. I drink diet pop ALL DAY LONG, so this seemed to be a daunting task. I pretty much get up in the morning, open a pop and sip it while getting ready, drink about half. Come to work, open another drink it until about lunch time. Drink another and sometimes another in the late afternoon. Come home, drink 1-2 more. I rarely mix it up with anything else. And whenever I drink caffeine free mistakenly, I totally notice and get headaches. But, I don't like being addicted. I also, for various reasons,... more »

*"The Poet Dreams of the Mountain"* by Mary Oliver "Sometimes I grow weary of the days with all their fits and starts. Republicans won 51.8% of the vote in a jungle primary because Steve Israel backed a candidate Democratic voters can't relate to. And he's doing it again this year. The Beltway committees like the DCCC and NRCC get their information about America from the *Cook Report* and the *Cook Report* gets its information from the Beltway committees like the DCCC and NRCC. It's a closed loop of cluelessness. But I have to admit, *Cook* always gets their predictions right on the first Wednesday following the first Tuesday of every election year. * This is my article yesterday in interaksyon.com -------- With the debate on whether the power generation rate increase -- mistakenly referred to as "Meralco rate hike" -- is justified or not, the role of WESM has been put under question. The Wholesale Electricity Spot Market was created under Sec. 30 of Republic Act 9136 or the Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001 (EPIRA). Power generators, distribution utilities (DUs) and electric cooperatives, bulk consumers, similar entities authorized by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) can participate there. Stephen and Benjamin's Rendezvous

LeDaro at LeDaro - 12 hours ago
Does Netanyahu really speak for "all of the people of Israel" as he claims here? Many in the country feel his hardline stands are counterproductive for both the Palestinians and for Israel, counterproductive to peace. Nonetheless, the hardline Netanyahu was positively beaming in his introduction of Stephen Harper, who has given blind support to hardline elements in the Israeli government, embodied by Netanyahu. Just as many Canadians are ashamed of Harper, many Israelis are ashamed of Netanyahu.

Ignorance Personified

Stephen Harper claims that criticizing Israel is a new form of Anti-Semitism. Of course, he defines Israel as the Netanyahu government. But, as Gerry Caplan writes, there is so much more to Israel than the Netanyahu government: But it’s not Israel that he supports. It’s the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Among the great truths the Canadian delegation will not be reminded of is that Mr. Netanyahu represents only one faction of Israel today, just as Mr. Harper represents only a minority of Canadians. Like Mr. Harper, Mr. Netanyahu has generated a great deal of opposition. But ... more »

There are hordes of old buildings lying around, a port, an Old Street, and a beautiful wooden struc... more »

"A Look to the Heavens"

“Cosmic clouds seem to form fantastic shapes in the central regions of emission nebula IC 1805. Of course, the clouds are sculpted by stellar winds and radiation from massive hot stars in the nebula's newborn star cluster, Melotte 15. About 1.5 million years young, the cluster stars are near the center of this colorful skyscape, along with dark dust clouds in silhouette. *Click image for larger size.* Dominated by emission from atomic hydrogen, the telescopic view spans about 30 light-years. But wider field images reveal that IC 1805's simpler, overall outline suggests its popular na... more »

United Opt Out to hold annual spring event in Denver, CO #edchat #edreform

Shaun Johnson at @ THE CHALK FACE - 1 day ago
Here are all of the official details, from United Opt Out National. UOO held its first two spring events in Washington, DC under the banner of “Occupy the DOE.” Occupations, unfortunately, are passe now, don’t you think? More than that, Washington is, honestly, an expensive and ugly place. The USDE building is ugly and isolated. […]

Issue estoppel applies only where a Court's decision necessarily determines the issue

James C Morton at Morton's Musings - 1 day ago
R. v. Thompson, 2014 ONCA 43: [33] The doctrine of issue estoppel is concerned with particular issues common to two different pieces of litigation involving the same parties: *R. v. Mahalingan*, 2008 SCC 63, [2008] 3 S.C.R. 316, at para. 17. When applied to a trial, the doctrine focuses on particular determinations of the issues supporting the verdict, not on the ultimate verdict itself, which is the business of double jeopardy: *Mahalingan*, at para. 17. [34] Where the doctrine of issue estoppel applies, it prevents the Crown from re-litigating an issue that has b... more »

Agenda 21: California Law Would Abolish Private Property

urupiper at Yesterday 's Lies - 1 day ago
[image: The Last Resistance] Posted By Philip Hodges on Jan 15, 2014 [image: agenda 21] Part of the United Nations’ Agenda 21 is the abolition of private property. Confiscation of private property will be done under the guise of “sustainability.” They’ll argue that having a large plot of land is an inefficient use of the land, and that your land would be better used if it were developed into something else. Perhaps they’d prefer that a mass transit rail run right through you property. So they’d take your property over through eminent domain, forcing your out of your own house a... more »

Sunday, January 19th, 2014 Veterans Today *Scarborough Country** becomes “9-11 Spin Country” as Ellen Mariani says her microphone was abruptly shut off in the middle of her September 11 expose during an interview Monday night. U.S. intelligence sources say the national cover-up of the mysterious death of host Joe Scarborough’s former female congressional aide—found in his district office—is linked to why the truth about 9-11 was cut off by the MSNBC host* [image: Ellen_Mariani]*By Stew Webb and Tom Flocco*I was asked to start posting articles from the past that I was involved w... more »

Benjamin Fulford - January 20, 2013: Systematic take-down of cabal accelerates with Vatican bank purge, mass resignations, mass firings etc

AMERICAN KABUKI at AMERICAN KABUKI - 1 day ago
*Systematic take-down of cabal accelerates with Vatican bank purge, mass resignations, mass firings etc* *by Benjamin Fulford* *January 20, 2013* Last week Pope Francis replaced four out of the top five officers overseeing the Vatican Bank in a move that sent shock-waves through the public leadership of many countries. In probably most countries of the world, when a new leader is installed, that person gets a visit from a cabal officer like Henry Kissinger who hands them a Vatican bank account book containing a huge bribe, according to sources including former CIA chiefs. "A Single Thought Or A Single Act..."

"Looking at the people, listening to the breathing, heaving, laughing, struggling music of the slum, all around me, I remembered one of Khaderbhai's favorite phrases. “Every human heartbeat,” he'd said many times,” is a universe of possibilities.” And it seemed to me that I finally understood exactly what he'd meant. He'd been trying to tell me that every human will has the power to transform its fate. I'd always thought that fate was something unchangeable: fixed for every one of us at birth, and as constant as the circuit of the stars. But I suddenly realized that life is strang... more »

Robert F. Kennedy, "On Courage"

A CNN crew covering the June 5, 1989, protests in Beijing recorded a man stopping a Chinese tank in Tiananmen Square. *"On Courage"* by Robert F. Kennedy "There are differing evils, but they are common works of man. They reflect the imperfection of human justice, the inadequacy of human compassion, our lack of sensibility toward the sufferings of our fellows. But we can perhaps remember- even if only for a time- that those who live with us are our brothers; that they share with us the same short moment in life; that they seek- as we do- nothing but the chance to live out their live... more »

“Experiences We Don’t Understand: Hidden Gems”

noreply@blogger.com (CoyotePrime) at Running 'Cause I Can't Fly - 1 day ago
*“Experiences We Don’t Understand: Hidden Gems”* by Madisyn Taylor, The DailyOM “All of the events in our lives lead to other events, they are all connected. Sometimes we have an experience that we don’t understand, but if we look deeply, or wait long enough, a reason for that experience will usually reveal itself. All the events in our lives lead to other events, and all that we have manifested in this present moment is the result of past events and experiences. We cannot easily tease apart the many threads that have been woven together to create our current reality. Experiences t... more »
