no tailing ponds?? Below is the truth and confirm my high school
science was correct. Another lie expose, is the anthracite coal being
used to make steel. If so, its the most expensive coal on the globe and
is used for heating and generating energy. NOT in making steel.

Not only revising the facts but also trying to pull the wool over the eyes, including the BC government or unless the BC government is on it - because anthracite coal is hard coal and is used for heating and producing energy. Yes - there is tailing ponds - "Waste rock is piled up at the surface, near the edge of the open pit. This is known as the waste dump. The waste dump is also tiered and stepped, to minimize degradation.
Ore which has been processed is known as tailings, and is generally a slurry. This is pumped to a tailings dam or settling pond, where the water evaporates. Tailings dams can often be toxic due to the presence of unextracted sulfide minerals, some forms of toxic minerals in the gangue, and often cyanide which is used to treat gold ore via the cyanide leach process. By the way, there is no need to mine coal here - plenty of other places in the world - instead of polluting the water tables and in the end killing the Sacred Headwaters.

Gillard's law firm files seized as police investigate AWU 'slush fund'
VICTORIA Police Fraud Squad detectives have seized Julia Gillard's confidential personnel files, invoices, travel records and all documents relating to legal advice she gave 20 years ago to help set up a union fund for her then boyfriend, Bruce Wilson.
Documents obtained exclusively by The Australian confirm the former prime minister is a focus of the investigation surrounding Mr Wilson, the former Australian Workers Union secretary who was dating Ms Gillard while she was his lawyer at Slater & Gordon in the 1990s.
The revelations are contained in the form and details of the search warrant police successfully obtained in May and which has been detailed in full in court documents.
Police seized hundreds of documents under the warrant, which specifically sought files held by Slater & Gordon relating to Mr Wilson and Ms Gillard, including her personnel files, invoices, travel records and documents from the firm's partner meetings relating to Ms Gillard and the AWU.
The documents have been kept in a sealed box at the Melbourne Magistrates Court pending claims of legal privilege, but Detective Sergeant Ross Mitchell, who is leading the investigation, yesterday applied to have them returned to police under a law that states client legal privilege does not apply to documents made in furtherance of a fraud. His application said he would argue that any claim of privilege by Mr Wilson "should be rejected on the grounds that the contents of the documents prepared by Mr Wilson or solicitor/s at Slater & Gordon (or both), were made in furtherance of the commission of a fraud or an offence".
Sergeant Mitchell cited a section of the Evidence Act that cancels client legal privilege in circumstances where a lawyer and a client knew, or should have known, that the documents were to be used in a fraud or an abuse of power.
Mr Wilson and Ms Gillard have strenuously denied wrongdoing.
Police are investigating an alleged fraud committed by Mr Wilson in the mid-1990s.
Ms Gillard provided legal advice to the AWU and Mr Wilson while working as a salaried partner at Slater & Gordon. She left the firm after her colleagues learnt of her role in providing legal advice to help set up the AWU Workplace Reform Association, which was later allegedly used by Mr Wilson to siphon hundreds of thousands of dollars and purchase a terrace house in the inner Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.
Money was withdrawn from the fund to purchase the house in Mr Blewitt's name at a 1993 auction, which Ms Gillard attended with Mr Wilson, who subsequently lived in the property.
Slater & Gordon handled the conveyancing and helped provide finance.
Ms Gillard, in a 1995 secret exit interview at the firm, described the association as a "slush fund" for the re-election of union officials but said she had no knowledge of the fund's operations.
She has previously attempted to distance herself from the police investigation, warning 2GB's Ben Fordham in March to be careful of linking her to it and saying: "That's got nothing to do with me." Her office later said it did not know if she was under investigation.
Ron Gipp, representing Sergeant Mitchell, told Chief Magistrate Peter Lauritsen that Mr Wilson was the "primary subject" of the investigation and Sergeant Mitchell could testify about evidence of a fraud allegedly committed by Mr Wilson through his solicitors.
He said Victoria Police would fight if Mr Wilson claimed privilege over the documents "because they came into existence in furtherance of a fraud".
"We want the matter heard and determined as soon as possible," Mr Gipp said.
"The investigation of this matter is being hampered. It is being prejudiced by the delay in getting access to these documents."
Daniel Aghion, representing Mr Wilson, said there were 250 documents relating to his client, running to 1000 pages, and it was unclear whether all of them would need to be examined before a privilege claim was made.
He said he was unsure how Mr Wilson would inspect the documents and whether he had internet access.
Mr Wilson is receiving access to legal representation through the Public Interest Law Clearing House, with his lawyers only set to recover fees if he wins a costs order in his favour.
His former union sidekick Ralph Blewitt has admitted to his involvement in an alleged union fraud and a slush fund and already waived his claim to privilege. Mr Gipp said Mr Blewitt was also a subject of the inquiry and his disclosures had given police a "good idea" of the nature of the documents inside the sealed box.
He said all other avenues of the investigation, apart from the documents, had been or were close to being exhausted, "considering that Mr Wilson is the primary suspect in relation to the fraud".
Slater & Gordon won a Supreme Court order last week compelling the return of eight seized documents. The case returns to court on October 15.
