The Men Who Live As Dogs

DownWithTyranny at DownWithTyranny! - 31 minutes ago
*-by Noah* I’ve heard of women who think all men are dogs. Even Hillary Clinton famously once said that her husband was a “hard dog to keep on the porch.” So, when my wife sent me this article from England’s *Guardian* newspaper today about men dressing up as dogs and going about their day, naturally, my ears perked up. It seems that in England, there are more than a few men who like to take being a good little doggie to bold new dimensions; literally donning rubber doggie suits and plastic dog face masks to dress up as dogs-- big, life size human dogs or “Human Pups,” to use th... more »

How Is The Air War Against The Islamic State Going?

War News Updates Editor at War News Updates - 1 hour ago
While airstrikes in Iraq have increased substantially in the past year, they have slightly decreased in Syria. CENTCOM *Cameron Glenn, Newsweek: **How Is the Air War Against ISIS Going?* The difference in the two fronts is reflected in strikes on the two ISIS strongholds. The coalition hit Raqqa—a backwater city that is the nominal capital of its pseudo-caliphate in Syria—less than 60 times this year, or only 8 percent of the total airstrikes in Syria. The coalition hit areas in and around Mosul—a commercial center in Iraq at least 10 times larger than Raqqa—almost 500 times, or a ... more »

One of the biggest ever studies on cellphone radiation has conclusively found that mobile phones do cause cancer, ending the long-running debate on the dangers of cellphones. The peer-reviewed study, by the National Toxicology Program, found that rats who were exposed to cellphone frequencies got two types of brain tumors as a result. Partial findings from the study, released on Thursday, warned that the results will likely have a huge effect on public health. “Given the widespread global usage of mobile communications among users of all ages, even a very small increase in the inci... more »

Donald Trump Accuses Clintons Of ‘Suiciding’ Vince Foster

Donald Trump has sent the mainstream media into a frenzy after publicly declaring that former top aide to the Clintons, Vince Foster, was probably “suicided” by the elite. His comments have re-ignited the story in the mainstream media, upsetting Hillary who has relied on it being buried on obscure conspiracy websites. Alternative news blogger and activist Shepard Ambellas remarked in a recent podcast that Trump’s repeated references to various conspiracies are rocking the mainstream establishment to their very core. Natural Rights to be Suspended by National "States of Emergency" in Japan and Elsewhere

The Mainichi today has an article on an LDP draft of Constitutional changes that proposes a distinction between the protection of "big" and "small" human rights in the wake of crises situations, referred to as "states of emergency." According to Shojiro Sakaguchi, a professor at Hitotsubashi University and an expert on constitutional law, the LDP's revision essentially deconstructs the idea of "natural rights" and elevates the authority and power of the state (as embodied in the Constitution) over the supposed natural rights of individuals: LDP draft Constitution differentiates be... more »
