I do see a tendency to energy self-sufficiency around us. Not only by solar panels or 'prayerwheels' (windmills), but also by revolutionary concepts like electricity-from-air. It's there since many years. What about safe nuclear energy for home-usage or for a village? Follow the trail of the small, automatic lighthouses along coasts...

Another option:
electricity from air, you can attach a wire to a 3 foot
copper pipe and put it 20 feet in the air and get close
to 30volts. Stick a steel pipe deep into the ground
for the negative, and do not have the ground anwhere
near the antenna. Use pcv pipe to support the antenna,
and stay away from utility wires, be careful. You would
use many in parallel to gain amps.
