Climate Change: The Folly of "Demanding" Action
At a recent Washington climate change rally, who is demanding action? Demanding action from whom? What action?
In reality, the diminutive, corporate-media inflated rally in DC was
organized by the very corporate-financier special interests that have
been wreaking terrible havoc on both the human population and the
environment of this planet for decades. They are demanding action from a
government that already represents their interests. Their demands are
policies, particularly financial tax schemes that they themselves created
and are are best positioned to benefit from while making no discernible
impact on the very real environmental threats we collectively face. It was an exercise in manufacturing consent for policies already
long-ago devised and simply waiting for piecemeal implementation.
Yahoo! News' report, "40,000 People Reported at Climate Change Rally," mentions 350.org as one of the rally's organizers and key representatives. Upon 350.org's "Friends & Allies" page, an extensive list of human rights and environmental racketeers can be found, all either linked, or directly connected to big-oil, big-finance, big-agri, and big-defense.
The key to preserving what we as humans value, including not only our cities, towns, and countrysides, but also ecosystems and species - is to devise technical, pragmatic solutions to ensure no matter what the climate does, we can not only survive, but thrive.

Deportation is now politically incorrect, sort of like the T-word — terrorism — which the administration also seeks to avoid. The current government emphasis is on increasing legal immigration and granting amnesties; by no means is Washington as interested in clarifying deportation.
What, exactly, justifies deportation of immigrants of any status? Failure to find work and become self-supporting? Should those residing here illegally at least avoid committing crimes and follow the rules of their adopted country?
Would embracing radical ideological movements that have waged war on the United States be a cause for deportation? Apparently not. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was interviewed by the FBI in 2011, based on information from a foreign intelligence agency that he might pose a threat as a radical Islamist. The FBI knew from Tsarnaev’s web postings about his not-so-private sympathies with radical Islam.
( And we also know that the posturings about 'radical Isl;am' are both incorrect and a deception : 'radical' Islam is part of what drives foreign mercenaries recruited to adventure by Saudi Arabia, the US, NATO, etc. to fight in Libta and Syria the way they once fought the USSR in Afghanistan )
